      Very Chic!

Left on 04/07/2013 for a stay in March 2013

Although our stay at Chic Chalet was short (only 3 nights) it was very enjoyable. The views were exceptional, especially from the wonderful terrace. The hot tub was great after a day out and about. We were lucky to have the master suite on the upper floor, which was very nice! The only slight downside would be the 'absent owner' syndrome when the agent is left to oversee the property, and niggly little problems that would be immediately rectified by the owner are not so important to the agent.

      Wow - you won't be disappointed !!

Left on 02/12/2012 for a stay in January 2012

Firstly the pictures don't do enough justice. The views from the decked terrace are wonderful.
Along with the sunken jacuzzi and the views of the alpine trees and mountainous background of Queenstown, the property gives a lovely sense of both light and space. It has everything you need from the barbi on the terrace to a wood burner (with plenty of cut wood) in the spacious lounge, from Internet connection to all the utensils you could need in the kitchen. It's just the perfect place to stay on your holiday. ...Thanks Kim & Tim.

      Absolutely stunning accommodation 10/10

Left on 10/17/2011 for a stay in September 2011

This was by far the best part of our New Zealand roadtrip, which ended at the Chic Chalet. We were two couples travelling together for a few weeks. We loved this place so much we didn't want to leave (and even gave up a day on the ski fields so we could enjoy the place more!). The views are amazing and the kitchen is awesome to cook in. There is a nearby gourmet market so you can cook food. The free wifi was great, even helped us to order a pizza online one night! I was lucky enough to win the coin toss and got to stay in the master bedroom upstairs which was absolutely amazing. There is nothing we could fault about this place, we loved it!

You definitely need a car in order to get around. The house is just outside of Queenstown, which is great if you want a more peaceful holiday.

      Mountain Retreat

Left on 05/19/2011 for a stay in June 2010

This architectural renovated original design classic home was a pleasure to stay in.
We loved the ambience, the design and the warm, warm beds.
The proximity to the ski field and the city, in between both was superb, driving around provides picturesque entertainment and great photos. The house had internet connection however slow and hot tub (great for after slopes) however difficult to switch on and long wait to warm up. The management team were fantastic stopping in to visit and make sure we were comfortable and the tub was switched on. The beds were fantastic however there was damp rising in the bathroom and 2 bedrooms downstairs this was most likely the only real disappointment with the property.
The kitchen was lovely to work in however there was something missing like sharp knife or enough pans however we had 6 to feed so I am sure 4 would be very comfortable in this home. It is very open plan here, only one area to play in winter due to being indoors mostly, another tv upstairs could help. The fire place is brilliant at warming the house and the house managers would pop over and load the fireplace in the middle of the day to make the house warm when you arrived home. The stairs upstairs are very steep and if you have young children you might get a gate.
The interior design is brilliant. The hot water was perfect after long day out in the cold however the bath downstairs was perfect for our kids.
There was a nice variety of tea / coffee, bottle of wine and all those things you forget in the kitchen pantry!
We loved watching the view from the verandah, the weather was brilliant so we were able to enjoy the outdoors on our stay here.
      Just beautiful!
Thanks you for our lovely stay.

Peaceful retreat 10mins away from the noise of queenstown

Left on 03/31/2011 for a stay in March 2011

Having a strong need for customer service and principally driven businesses, i am particular about who i hand over my cash to.
I really enjoyed my stay at chic chalet.
If you want to contact me, i'll tell you all about it.
The only thing that i didnt appreciate was the lack of internet service, that wasnt fixed after i brought it to the property managers attention.
      Everything else was great.
We dont drink alot of alcohol often, so the 10min drive back from queenstown wasnt an issue for us with 'drink driving' thing, but if you need more than a few then its going to be a taxi there and back.

      Great House

Left on 12/29/2010 for a stay in November 2010

A very nice house, great open plan lounge with a fantastic kitchen for people planning to self cater. Built on a high location with fantastic views that's slightly out of town. Good linen, nice bathroom toiletries although the bottles were much too small for the length we stayed. Our only complaint was the dirty bbq.
