The location is perfect, above the hustle and bustle of the town and next to the amazing Queenstown Hill walking trail.The home has a fully equipped kitchen and is an entertainers delight.The decor and furniture is of a high standard and will please patrons who insist on the best. We experienced a totally professional service from the property managers who obviously enjoy their work.

After a busy day up the mountain it was nice to look forward to the warmth and comfort at 45 South. Beautifully presented with everything we needed for our stay. Comfortable beds, lovely and warm with the two living areas making it the perfect home when traveling with the kids, escaping to the couch in front of the fire. Magnificent view and a sobering walk up the hill from the beautiful dinning in Queenstown. A must to come back to in summer.

Our family are all like this luxury house. They were excited to have lived in such a wonderful house. It's on the top of the hill so that we saw the whole queenstown view from every window. That's stunning. After the activities, we bought food from "Fresh Choice", then cooked ourselves. We had dinner while having a beautiful sight. That was so sweet and warm.
We love all of this house. The sofas and beds are soft, and it has a complete furniture.
So, why are you waiting for choosing this house?:) Trust me, you deserve to have a nice holiday in this house. -

It was fantastic to see that the house was exactly the same as the photos on the website, as this is not always the case, speaking from experience. There isn't any expense spared for the quality furnishings, beds, etc. The house is in an amazing location with spectacular views. Overall, it was an amazing place to stay. We loved everything about our stay at 45 South from the ease of check-in down to the thoughtful amenties such as eye shades. Every detail has been thought out for your comfort and enjoyment--the beds are super comfy, the Tv's big and equipped with surround sound, robes, every kitchen appliance one coud need, etc. You can't beat the gorgeous views from everywhere on the second floor. I especially loved that you could close off the tv room and still have a whole other living room to hang out in. Wonderful--would highly recommend.

This house exceeded our expectations, both in location (walking distance to downtown and backed up against an incredible hiking trail) and in amenities. The only downside of this house is pulling yourself away from the view from the patio to motivate to go do something else! I could hang out there all afternoon watching paragliders drift off the hill, but knowing there was so much to do within walking distance kept me from wasting too many hours that way.
Even with 6 adults in the house, we were perfectly comfortable with plenty of room and privacy. A giant dining room table made for lots of nights where I'd rather stay in than head out for dinner, and the media room's comfy sofa was made for lazy movie nights. Now I know what they mean by "relax, it's done".
Thank you 45 South .. we'll be back! -

We received friendly, prompt and efficient service from Lyndsey, who was even able to tell us where to get good seafood! The house was beautifully decorated and all comforts of home were well catered for, making our stay very comfortable and pleasant. The only tricky problem was getting the car into the garage at that steep angle. It is a fair walk to town, especially for the elderly, and steep climb on way back, but the stunning view from the house makes up for it!

We enjoyed a week is this lovely, warm, home away from home and simply did not want to leave! The house is very well maintained, is spaciously set out with great modern taste and had everything we could ask for.
Perched high on Queenstown Hill, the house is in such an ideal location - only a short walk down into town and back. If Queenstown didn't already have enough to offer, Winter Festival was a real treat. The impressive and unobstructed panoramic views from all rooms in the house were truly magic, a pleasure to take in at any point of the day and even more superb to wake up to each morning.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending 45 South to any prospective holiday makers - You'll be blown away and won't regret your decision if you are looking for a luxury self catering stay.
