Unique Historic home with all the comforts required to make your stay special. Large wood Burner in Lounge with Piano, Books, CD player and TV as well as cards, games and jigsaw puzzles. Free Wireless internet is available and use of laptop if required. Heat pump and radiators throughout the rest of the house ensure a warm and cosy atmosphere and the Fire is kept burning in your absence or lit for your return if weather dictates. We offer the Whole House self-catering deal for the winter months and Bed and Breakfast rates for the rest of the year, please contact us for more information regarding Bed and Breakfast.

Rural location with Remarkable Mountains as a back drop and Coronet Peak view from front garden. Right on the doorstep of the Historic Lower Shotover Bridge which is now an integral part of the growing walking/cycling trail network. Delightful walk along the banks of the shotover river and on to the beach. Quiet and tranquil setting and a great place to return to after a busy day. Queenstown is 10 -15 minutes drive and Arrowtown is the same. The Kawaura Bungy bridge is 15-20 minutes drive and the start of the Gibston Valley wineries the same. Airport is just 5 minutes away and Remarkable Park shopping centre the same.

We woke up to the smell of delicious warm bread being baked. Glenys and her husband both made us feel very comfortable and welcome and we loved their dog too.
They gave us good directions, did not complain when we woke up late for breakfast and since there were no other guests during our stay we had the whole place which is very tastefully done to ourselves. would definitely go back there.Response from Glenys Reynolds - 12/05/2012

The Ferry was a fantastic historical house that all of us including the kids felt comfortable and relaxed and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The location of The Ferry was perfect just enough seclusion but still close to everything. Glenys was wonderful making us feel at home and even had the fire lit for us when returning from skiing each day. Beautiful breakfast and the thought that went into our whole stay was just what we needed being away from home. We even extended our stay longer than originally planned.
