Within walking distance of Rennes-le-Chateau, this south-facing gîte offers stunning views across the Pyrenees countryside. It is a beautifully finished, stylish and comfortable home and attention has been paid to every detail. Handsomely restored, the owners have used traditional and natural materials. The walls are rendered with natural lime plaster and even the insulation is natural hemp. While retaining original features like oak beams there are modern comforts like central heating, wireless internet and a granite top kitchen. We stayed with 2 other friends in this most amazing home. I say home because it felt so welcoming. The house was quite gorgeous and the little french village was everything you would expect from a small french village. It was beautiful with amazing scenery all around. Sophie was so welcoming and kind giving us tips of where to go and visit while we were there. The house itself was divine. Quality oozes from every corner unyet at the same time it retains its exquisite french charm. We had the best time there exploring the surrounding area - which was incredible. Our stay was fabulous and would i recommend the house without hesitation. It was a truly wonderful holiday.
