Villa Sao Lorenco is a large and beautiful contemporary villa in Quinta do Lago on the edge of the Ria Formosa and the golf course. In a quiet and secluded peaceful location the villa is ideal for a family holiday or for a large group of friends.

Villa Sao Lorenco has 6 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a private pool (with optional heating) and gardens overlooking the golf course. This sophisticated villa has a calm and relaxed atmosphere and is the perfect vacation destination to get away from everyday life. The villa is large and open ensuring that you have plenty of space. There are floor to ceiling windows so that the whole propert...y is light and airy. Air Conditioning and touch intelligent lighting throughout. With neutral tones, polished stone floors and wooden doors the villa will suit all tastes.

There are 3 double bedrooms downstairs and a master, double room and twin room upstairs. The bathrooms have a walk in rainforest shower, bath and heated towel rails.

Upon arriving at the villa you will walk across the traditional portuguese calcadas to a large front door. The open hallway leads to an open plan lounge with fireplace and flatscreen TV and then onto a large kitchen with state of the art Miele appliances and gadgets and also the TV/Snug Room. There is also a large outside courtyard with plenty of seating, which can be sectioned off from the garden and pool area by electric shutters.

Walk up the swooping staircase to the Master Bedroom with its ensuite bathroom and also to the Double room and Twin room which share a bathroom and are ideal for children.

There is a private balcony off the master bedroom as well as an L shaped terrace with superb views over the pool, gardens and golf course, perfect for a secluded spot of sunbathing.

Outside there is a large pool, which can be heated if required and an outdoor dining area just off the kitchen. There is also a covered outdoor BBQ area with fridge, dining area and large gas BBQ.

Set in the prestigious Quinta Do Lago, Villa Sao Lorenco is in a fantastic location for a family vacation. The large villa is located in the Golden Triangle of the Algarve, with its clear blue skies, soft golden beaches and shimmering sea. We can recommend plenty of activities to keep everyone of every age entertained from relaxing spa and beach days to exciting zoo adventures, water parks and more! The villa backs onto a golf course, a perfect location for golf enthusiasts.

There are an array of local restaurants to suit everyone's taste from beach shacks to upmarket restaurants all within a 10-15 minute drive. The well known Vale de Lobo is also a 10 minute drive away.

The Ria Formosa, one of Europe's largest nature reserves is near to the villa and the perfect setting for a walk to see the various birds and animals like the Portuguese water dog that inhabit the area. There is even a lake, a 3 minute walk away from the house where you can spot flamingoes! Come and have a look!

  We stayed at Kingswood Creek for 9 days and had an enjoyable time. In particular the dining area, kitchen and conservatory were lovely spaces to enjoy I can imagine that in the summer with access to the river on its own boat and a swimming pool at the front of the property its a great place to be with kids. Even we liked having a go on the Kinect games system on the rainy days! There are also bikes and kayaks available!! Its very convenient for all the attractions Berkshire has to offer in particular Windsor. I would recommend it only to people with a car for getting around-shopping and visits. It is nearby heathrow so noise from above is to be expected but you get used to the planes very quickly. With a little bit more TLC and at slightly better value would be corking.
