This apartment is spacious and well appointed. We loved the location, amenities including garage, and fantastic views from the 7th floor. The managing personnel was very accommodating and the booking process was quite easy. The size of the apartment was very important to us to accommodate visitors and family gatherings. This apartment is definitely a keeper and we look forward to staying there on our next visit.

My wife and I returned to Quito to celebrate her 60th birthday and the Fiestas de Quito and took a couple of friends along to show them the wonders of Ecuador. The apartment is well appointed with everything you need and has a wonderful view of the city. You can walk or take a cab or bus to so many places and groceries and other necessities are not too far away.
A couple of things that we did not expect were the computer with internet connection and the loan of a cell phone while we were there.
Clemencia almond is a gracious lady and was very pleasant to deal with.

I must admit that I had my misgivings about paying $85 USD per night for self-catering accomodation in Quito... this seems quite steep and expensive. However, any reservations I had went out the window within 2 minutes of stepping into this apartment!! As other reviewers have noted the views from the sitting-room are amazing and the apartment overall has a wonderful sense of space. There are three bedrooms... a big master with en-suite, a twin and a single room. The kitchen space is also spacious and well lit with plenty of utensils, dish washer etc. We were very happy with this apartment and I left Quito feeling that the extra expense of getting a nice apartment had been well worth it. There were four of us in the group so $85 USD compares quite favorably with local hotels which would have cost more for 4 people and we would not have had our own space. Bela Visa the area is up-market and on the whole quite safe... its also close to downtown area for shopping and sites. Javier the guy who looks after the apartmen and gives you the keys etc was very helpful and keen to make sure we were comfortable and happy... he turned up with a new light bulb and head-phones for the computer. All in all this is a highly recommended apartment as you will see from not only my review but the others on TP.

Very spacious apartment with building security guard at the entrance. Fully equipped kitchen with amenities found at home; gas oven, microwave, eating plates & utensils, laundry machine, drier, etc. I eat breakfast in the apartment with fresh bread that I purchased daily from the bakery "Panaderia arenas” on 3507 avenida 6 de Diciembre located just 4 blocks down the hill.
The apartment is furnished with a small office, fully operational computer, internet, wi-fi, printer and phone specifically set up for making calls back to the United States, all this at no extra charge. Only minus was that the apartment did not have heating in the winter season, but that is the case for most places in Quito. Heating blankets for the beds kept me warm at nights. Don't drink the local water. As a convenience, kitchen comes with an office size bottle of purified water and cooler - refills only us$2.
The apartment owner Clemencia recommended a most wonderful driver who took us all around town. The driver, Javier was very reliable, punctual, best of all speaks English, and had traveled in us. We decided to use his services every day for convenience and safety. The driver knew the local and distant tourist destinations like the back of his hand and negotiated around traffic like an Indy 500 race car driver. Javier also provided a free cell phone for everyday use so I did not have to rent a cell phone or purchase a SIM chip for my cell. All I had to do was visit a major supermarket, provide the counter clerk with his cell number, prepay us$3 and I was set. Half an hour later the cell phone company registered the new usage hours and cell was ready to use. I used both the apartment phone and Javier's cell to stay in touch with my travel agent. Groceries, clothing, hardware, secure aTM money machines are found at a Mega mall located just 10 blocks away from the apartment. -

Our stay in Clemencia's apartment was one of the highlights of a family trip to Ecuador. The apartment is located in the Bella Vista neighborhood, which is very nice and quite safe. It's also just a few blocks from the Ecovia bus line, making it easy to get to other areas of the city. The apartment itself is as large and beautiful as the photos indicate. The living room window offers a perfect view of the Pinchincha volcano - we spent hours watching the clouds roll in and out. We were in Quito for New Year's Eve, and the 7th floor location also gave us a great seat for the fireworks displays around the city at midnight. The kitchen is big and well-equipped with high-quality pots and pans, a dishwasher, etc. We invited my daughter's host family for dinner one day (she's studying in Quito this year) and had no trouble preparing and serving a meal for 10 people. Clemencia and her brother Javier were wonderful to work with. Clemencia was prompt and friendly in responding to my questions prior to the trip. And Javier, who lives in Quito and was our contact while we were there, was incredibly helpful. Because our flight landed late on Christmas night, Clemencia and Javier were willing to let my Quito-based daughter pick up the keys and drop off her suitcase at the apartment earlier in the day. My daughter had planned to catch a bus back to her host family's house after collecting the keys, but Javier insisted on driving her there instead. Once we arrived, he let us know that he'd be available to take us on our return trip to the airport, as well as other places we might want to go (for a very reasonable fee). We did most of our traveling by bus, on foot or by taxi, thanks to our daughter's knowledge of the city - but Javier's driving services would be extremely helpful to those without access to a local expert.

The pictures do not do this apartment justice. My friends and I were blown away with how spacious, clean and beautifully decorated it was. In addition to the magnificent view of the city from the living room.
The location is great, it's in the middle of the city so we were able to get to all the places we were going very quickly. There is also a few malls and grocery stores nearby so we had no problem stocking up on essentials for the trip.
Clemencia was a pleasure to deal with, and she even made a prepaid cell phone available to us during our visit. It was the easiest transaction I've done online. We were very reassured by her professionalism and it was evident even when we got there and checked in with the property manager.
I would recommend this place to anyone going to Quito, and will absolutely be requesting to stay here again when I visit this beautiful city! -

Stayed here for 2 months (April and May). The owners are wonderful and made sure we were happy at all times. The view is fabulous! We would sit and watch the lights every night and the clouds during the day. Location is convenient to stores and a great park. Very safe area - we would walk to most places. The apartment is huge and beautifully decorated. Kept very clean. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Ecuador.

I used the apartment as a "base camp" for travels through out northern Equador. What a wonderful experience. It was always such a joy to return to this beautiful apartment. Lots of hot water, clean, all the amenities.
The location is perfect. Bella Vista for sure.

When we walked into this apartment, we told our tour guide to cancel everything - we would just sit there and watch the view. The prior guests' comments covers everything I would say, but rest assured, you won't regret staying in this wonderful apartment. We really hated to leave it.

This condo is wonderful. It is newly remodeled from top to bottem in an elegant but very comfortable style. It is larger than described and offers magnicent, ever changing mountain and big sky views. Our stay was so enjoyable we cancelled a planned 3 day getaway outside Quito. Why leave? It was home sweet home. Finally, it's important to note that the owning family, in Texas and Quito, are lovely people who are extra willing to help. If Quito is on your calendar, stay here.

My wife and I spent about 9 days in Equador, including time in Banos, off the Rio Napo, in Otavalo, and in Quito. In Quito we had the privilege of staying in this wonderful apartment. It is in a nice, safe neighborhood with expansive views and a lot of convenient local shops, parks, and transportation. We got around most of Quito on foot and public transport from this apartment. I highly recommend it.

This comfortable, beautifully furnished 7th floor apartment has a large living/dining room, eat in kitchen, three bedrooms, two full baths, office with internet, and laundry facilities. One of most striking features is a spectacular view of the andes Mountains including a panorama of Quito in the valley and beyond. During the day, you can watch the massive mountains change colors every hour. At night, you can enjoy seeing the thousands of lights of Quito. Other attributes include an elevator located close to the apartment door, 24 hour security, and prompt taxi service. It is an easy walk to Carolina Park and shopping centers. My husband and I highly recommend this lovely, well appointed apartment.

My fiancé and I stayed here for a friend's wedding that was held in Quito. Clemencia and her brothers took great care to ensure that we had a memorable stay. This luxury apartment is centrally located, well furnished, with an inspiring view of the city and Pichincha. The furnishings are modern and tasteful. The kitchen well equipped with all the necessary appliances was ready for any meal. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms had modern fixtures. With its central location (in a safe upscale area of Quito), we were within walking distance of a corner store (where we got fresh bread every morning), grocery and other shopping, as well as several museums. It was a short inexpensive taxi ride to the old town or anywhere else we needed to go within Quito. There was high-speed Internet access and cable TV. The apartment was immaculate and well kept. Some other features include a peaceful garden on the ground floor and 24-hour on-site security. The most amazing feature of this apartment is the giant picture window that frames a breath taking view of the city and its volcano. Thank you Clemencia for your hospitality and allowing us the use of your beautiful apartment. When we return to Quito, we intend to stay here again!
