London, UKWell situated holiday house perfect for friends or families!
Left on 06/08/2011 for a stay in April 2010
The house itself is beautiful. Extremely spacious, clean, bright and well kept. It's well furnished and you'll want to make yourself right at home. It's equipped with everything you need for a night in including a jacuzzi bath, board games, Dvds, two comfortable living rooms with televisions and a fondue set (which you'll want to enjoy in the basement, a lovely log cabin styled leisure room). Each floor has a balcony, from which there's a pleasant view of the local green and hilly scenery. Christine the owner provides a very helpful bible of information to help you make the most of your stay. And although the housekeeper speaks little English she gives a warm welcome and is very sweet. The local shops stock all the essentials, and the house is well situated for day trips to the very pretty city of Krakow, the historical O?wi?cim or the scenic Zakopane.

Nestled in the picturesque village of Rabka-Zdroj, this gem of a holiday home is excellently comfortable and provides a perfect base for exploration of the local area.
Despite being just a short drive away from the market town of Zakopane and the historical city of Krakow, the house was so welcoming that it was a pleasure to spend an evening or two simply relaxing in one of the well-furnished living rooms.
I would recommend this holiday home to all without hesitation. It will not disappoint. -

I had a brilliant long weekend away with friends here. The house is great- I went with 6 other people and we still had plenty of space. Lovely that there are two sitting rooms in case you fight over the TV! We had a very relaxing time- cooking, toasting marshmallows, eating on the balcony etc. No complaints at all!
Rabka is a lovely area- great for walking, spas etc and Zakopane and Krakow are so accessible.
I would definitely recommend this holiday home! -

LondonLovely house with plenty to see nearby

This is a large house which is decorated and equipped to a very good standard. The many bathrooms have good quality fittings - there's a jacuzzi bath and power showers. In addition to the living room and the sitting area in the dining room, there's also a cosy wood-panelled bar room, complete with fireplace - lovely on cold snowy nights.
The town of Rabka has plenty of amenties - including spa and ski facilities. There are lots of restaurants that are very inexpensive by western standards.
Withing an hour or so you can get to the salt mines and Krakow - both great day trips and don't worry about snow on the roads because they are kept really clear. -
