This detached cottage is situated in the owners' two acre garden, on the edge of the hamlet of Radbourne, and sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Glebe Cottage is a detached cottage set on the owners' two acre garden, on the edge of the hamlet of Radbourne, six miles from Derby and nine miles from Ashbourne. This cottage sleeps four people and has two double bedrooms, as well as a family bathroom. There is also a fitted kitchen with dining area and a sitting room. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

We had a wonderful stay at Glebe cottage and enjoyed using it a base to travel to different places, Nottingham, Sheffield and Derby.
Our daughter, Erin who is 5, enjoyed walking around the gardens and playing on the swing with her companion Po.
We also visited Drayton Manor, which was fantastic, but being during the school holidays, was very busy.
The cottage provided a lovely base, somewhere nice to come home to after a gruelling day of shopping and enjoying coffee's.
10/10!

This superb cottage is beyond what is expected. The fittings, appliances, layout and setting so far above the average that I'm loathe to praise it too much lest it's so fully booked I can't go back.
The surrounding countryside is wonderful, the cottage secluded and yet within a 10 minute drive there are all the amenities necessary for self catering.
For once I find myself having not a single con to the many pros. -

A cottage set in a walled garden down a lane in a hamlet. It was very peaceful but easy to get to places from it. The cottage was very well equipped and the owner gave us a very warm welcome.

Everything that you need in a holiday home, super gardens, too. Very helpful and understanding owners. A really pleasant stay that I would not hesitate to either recommend or use again if in the area.

Glebe Cottage is a true English jewel. This charming cottage provided a relaxed and comfortable stay in the Derbyshire countryside. Mrs. Phillips, the owner, has thoughtfully provided nearly every comfort, from an extremely well-stocked kitchen to an eclectic library. The home is private, bright and cheerful, and in immaculate condition. The location is peaceful and somewhat rural, but the hamlet of Radbourne is minutes away with many shops and restaurants for convenience. The only convenience missing for us was Internet service. Other than that, I would say it's the perfect place. It's certainly the best self-catered cottage we have ever stayed in. We would love to return again soon.
