Waoku Lodge provides 5-star rated luxury self-contained apartments set in native bush and overlooking the Tasman Sea at Whale Bay. The Lodge was included as one of Top 40 Affordable Beach Resorts in the World by US Tourism+Leisure in 2010. Each apartment has two Queen size bedrooms, open plan living and dining area, fully equipped kitchen and most have a private spa-pool on the deck.
A full menu is available with meals served in the privacy of your apartment, most apartments have private spa-pool on the external deck. Acclaimed menu and recently introduced Gourmet Pizza menu too.

Just under two hours drive from Auckland International Airport, less than an hour from Hamilton and just 8km (5 miles) from Raglan town centre situated at Whale Bay. Ten minutes drive to Raglan for the cafe culture, galleries and funky shops.
Easy to find (but don't rely on the NZ GPS systems which often take you via windy back roads with no cell phone coverage). From Raglan follow Wainui Road to Whale Bay, take the first exit off the mini-roundabout at Whale Bay and Waoku Lodge is 500 meters on the left.
Raglan offers the largest left-hand break in the world for surfers, both Whale Bay and Manu Bay can be accessed on foot from Waoku Lodge. Less experienced surfers can drive to Ngaranui Beach about 5km to improve their surfing.
