Only 5 Steps to Climb. Most Houses in the Keys are Built on Stilts and there are a lot of Steps to Climb. You can catch your Dinner right off the Seawall. There is a Gas Grill located 3 feet from the Seawall where you can Cook your Catch. We provide Fishing equipment, Snorkeling equipment, Canoe, plenty of room to dock your boat and park your trailer.
The Efficiency has a private Enterance to the outside and can not be entered from the main house.

We loved being right in between Marathon Key and Key West. Visited both as well as Big Pine and Bahia Honda. We brought our sailboat and Tom showed us where to launch for free, where to go and how to get the boat back to their seawall. The efficiency was just as advertised, very clean, looks new. We had everything we needed. Tom and Judy were great hosts. We really enjoyed getting to know them a little, but they gave us our space as well. We had a great time fishing from the seawall, too. Thanks Tom and Judy!

We recently stayed two weeks at Tom and Judy's rental cottage. The cottage was exceptionally clean, the cottage was only about 30 feet from the ocean. I spent many hours under the thatched tiki hut napping while my girlfriend fished off the sea wall and jumped in and snorkeled. The tiki hut had a barbecue grill next to in and a nice dining table there also. We loved grilling and eating by the water. We drove there in a large pick up truck with a large trailer containing two Harleys and our bicycle's, ect. There was plenty of parking, which is all too often an issue with this the truck and trailer. There were two great bar/ restaurant's with entertainment at the end of the neighborhood that we rode our bicycle's to often. One even had a miniature golf course. We will be back there within the next two years.

Tom & Judy really know to treat you right while staying at their efficiency. They help in any way they can to make your stay truly enjoyable. Nice quaint apt with a beautiful view of the ocean that you can just take a few steps and are right on the ocean wall. Nice to be away from Key West yet still close to Marathon where we spent couple of days deep sea fishing in fact Stan caught a florida record yellow jack. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Tom and Judy had everything you needed in their efficiency so don't worry if you forgot to bring something as they will probably have it there for you. Can't praise these folks enough. Take our word for it you really need to try and stay with Tom and Judy and see for yourself how great your vacation will be

Location, location, location says it all! Unless, of course, adding that our hosts were delightful! The efficiency apartment was nicely decorated, down to the knobs on the cupboards, very clean ( thanks Tom and Judy for laundering the shower curtain after each guest), had all needed ammenities and extremely convenient to everything we chose to do on the Keys! The tiki hut was a bonus, and the company of our hosts was just right! Sitting in the tiki hut, you can see all kinds of fish, birds and other wild life. Wouldn't recommend anyplace else to stay!

If you are looking for a quiet getaway right on the water in beautiful Florida keys, don't look any further. Tom and Judy have the perfect rental with everything you need to enjoy the outdoors, quiet time inside and relaxation with breath taking views. My husband and I stayed for a week and were not disappointed. Tom and Judy suggested many places with great food and sites to not be missed during our stay. We really enjoyed getting to know both of them and exploring the keys.

A perfect place to relax! Beautiful room, great view, and anything you could need is available. Tom and Judy take care of you! They are great people to have conversations with. We enjoyed hearing there stories! There place is a great location. Easy driving distance to anything you may want to do in the Keys. It is about half way down to Key West. We can't wait to stay next year!!!

I had the occasion to stay at the Ramrod Key Property and it was absolutely fabulous! Every need was thought of in regards to a stay, and I do mean everything. The unit is well thought out and there was a surprising amount of storage and room. It was clean beyond belief as well. Tom and Judy were a great source of information. As I was working remotely, the calm peaceful environment was welcome. Definitely a place to escape to. The location was perfect, both along the Keys, and on Ramrod. Close enough to walk to Looe Key Dive, but not too close where you can hear the entertainment. Perfect location for Kayaking, Paddle Board, Canoeing, or Snorkeling. Watching the sunrise (in February) from the Tiki Hut was fantastic. I recommend the property for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. I hope to visit again.

This is a wonderful little unit in the Florida Keys. It is about 25 miles from Key West so accessible when you want some of the tourist activities there but far enough to provide a wonderful getaway. The unit itself was clean, nicely updated and well furnished. It was a beautiful setting right on the water. The owners, Tom and Judy are very nice and helpful. We would highly recommend this unit for a couple wanting a little getaway in the Florida Keys.

We read all the great reviews and the efficiency still exceeded our expectations. Tom and Judy are very nice and couldn't have been more helpful. They have traveled all over and are really interesting to talk to. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the setting is gorgeous. It is so peaceful, yet close to a lot of fun things to do. We really enjoyed carrying our coffee out to the Tiki hut to watch the sun come up over the ocean while we planned our day.
It is obvious that Tom and Judy put a lot of thought and effort into making the place convenient and comfortable. It has attractive tropical decor and everything you might need is provided. Hold off on buying your food, since you will have a shopper's card from the local supermarket on your key. -

We had a great stay with Tom & Judy. They were great and fun to talk to. The efficiency was very comfortable and very clean. If you forgot to bring something, they had it covered. The location is beautiful and right on the water. We used their canoe to check out the canals, houses, boats, and wildlife. Everything was exactly as expected and more. You could relax and hang out there, or be adventurous a check out Key West which is an easy 25 mile drive. They offer the best of both worlds with the comforts of home. We will definatley recommend this rental to our friends and family. Tom & Judy were great hosts!

Location, amenities and service all five stars. Tom & Judy were absolutely fabulous to deal with and overall great people. The perfect location to head out for adventures to Marathon, Bahia Honda, Big Pine or down to Key West. The home itself, spotless (clean would be an understatement). And fully equipped with everything you need, just like at home. The view from the place is spectacular. We really enjoyed sitting out under the tiki hut, the sunrise was the best. Be sure to take the canoe out and up the canal. Try to get a lobster or throw in a line off the seawall to try and catch something, poles and tackle are provided. And for those that must stay connected, the wireless internet was fast and reliable. We especially liked staying in a residential area (a really nice residential area). This allowed us to experience what it must be like to live there. Tom & Judy were so helpful in every way, from suggesting activities to finding local fish markets. I found them extremely knowledgeable, intelligent and a pleasure to be around, while simultaneously providing us complete privacy. We will definately return.

We had an amazing vacation! We were greeted by Tom and Judy when we arrived. We couldn't have met a nicer couple. The room was even better than the pictures they have posted and the view is breathtaking! You have everything you need right there. You even have an amazing view from the room. We did go downtown twice, but had a better time. Just relaxing on the dock. You can fish right there from the dock. I've never seen so many different fish. Tom and Judy were the perfect hosts. We coudln't have picked a better place to stay! I'm suprised the travel channel hasn't found them yet! Thank you so much Tom and Judy.

The Ramrod Key rental exceeded our expectations. It was recently remodeled by the owner and was very clean and well maintained. The location was ideal, being situated within easy driving distance of Key West, the more popular state parks and local attractions, but yet far enough from the "commercial tourist" district of Key Largo. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the Tiki Hut located at the waters edge during the evening, watching the fish and listening to the sound of the ocean breeze rustling the palms. Snorkel gear and a canoe are provided with the rental and provided a great opportunity to explore the area. Tom the owner was a superb host, being very knowledgeable about the area, local activities and attractions. We left feeling like we had been visiting an old friend.I would recommend the Ramrod Key rental to anyone interested in a Florida Keys getaway.
