Tamarisk Ranchos is an architecturally honored development of 16 homes built in 1958 by a group of Hollywoodites behind the formation of the nearby Tamarisk Country Club. It was designed by William Krisel, and set around what was the largest pool in the desert at the time. There are meandering paths, date palms and mature citrus trees everywhere. And this elegant gem was the developer’s own home. Needless to say, he nabbed the most breath-taking view of the mountains and the property for himself.
