Lakefront cabin with scenic mountain views

Our cabin is part of the Saddleback Lake Lodge Association which is an idyllic setting for relaxation located in the Rangeley Lakes resort region of western Maine. The property consists of 40 acres and approximately 4,000 feet of shore frontage on Saddleback Lake. It is the only construction on the lake. The remainder of the property, about 80%, is owned by the Saddleback Ski and Lake Preserve which own about 12,000 acres. The Saddleback Lake Lodge Association has an agreement with the ski area and we can use the trails (x-country skiing, biking) that go around the lake and to the mountain as well as the use of the entire lake shore.

S...addleback lake is in front of our cabin about 100 +/- feet away and there is a small dock in front. To our left, in the middle of the property, there is a sandy beach with a large dock and raft. Our cabin has a screened porch with 2 comfy chairs for relaxing and enjoying the view of the lake.

Sorry, but absolutely no pets are allowed or motors on the lake: this includes snow mobiles.

Renters must be respectful of the peaceful atmosphere of the area and abide by the rules of the Saddleback Lake Association as well as federal, state and local rules (a copy of the Saddleback Lake Association Rules will be distributed to potential renters).

Additional Location Information

This is a very peaceful, maine woods location. Our cottage is part of an Association of approximately 35-40 cottages located together; however, there are no homes on the remainder of the shoreline. Wonderful place to kayak & canoe, hike, bike, view wildlife (including moose & deer). Our driveway can accommodate 2 vehicles comfortably.
We are approximately 5 miles from downtown Rangeley which has an IGA supermarket and gas station and many restaurants and shops. Rangeley also offers many of the following opportunities: motor boating, swimming, fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, hiking area trails (Appalachian trail is also close by); state-of-the-art bowling alley and arcade which is fun for kids & adults alike.
