The Perfect View to Sit and Drink Your Morning Coffee!

So quaint, peaceful, cozy and in a perfect spot! You wouldn't think something so close to town would be so quiet. So close to the lake, you could almost dangle your feet in the water (If it were summer.) If you want to, you could sit in the kitchen, and stare out the window at the view all day. We even had enough room to have company without sitting on top of each other. We had a ball. We enjoyed the cabin so much, Moose alley didn't have to cater to us every night. The only down fall was I was expected a real fireplace. Oh well, I guess not having to get up to grab wood when it's 10 degrees out...fake was good! One more thing, a hammock (winter or summer), would be perfect! I would highly recommend this cottage, however, I would love to keep it a secret!!!
Cozy adorable little lakefront getaway

Looking for a last minute ski condo rental for a group of 6 twentysomethings on Valentines/Presidents Weekend '14 was a brutal task, but Melinda at Morton & Furbish was quick to respond to our inquiry and line us up with Marble Station. She was upfront about how small the place is, which we appreciated. It is definitely small, but turned out to be great. Cozy and perfect for a family or group of good friends. 1 master bedroom, and 1 "kids room" with 4 twin beds. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathroom was spotless and seemed recently remodeled (loved the black and white theme and moose silhouette nightlight). The living room was a little tight for our group (the couch only seats 2, plus there's an ottoman), but we pulled in chairs from the kitchen to get everyone in around the nice warm gas fireplace. The place is very clean and well-kept, and quite close to the Saddleback ski area. We'd love to go back for more skiing, or to stay on the lake in the summer when it's thawed and the dock is in. Only complaint is how far it is from Boston! Driving the snow-covered Maine roads in the dark to get to Rangeley was certainly an adventure :)

First of all, the Morton & Furbish Rental agency is amazing to work with...customer service was the best!! The camp is adorable however, we recommend to stay in late spring, summer and early fall. It was really cold and very hard to keep it warm...at night time the wind just whistled through the windows and made it a tad uncomfortable...that being said we would come back...very nice location, quiet and peaceful!

Marble Station was clean and ready for us. When we had a couple of problems understanding how to work the TV and the heat you were Johnny on the spot with help. We loved being in Marble Station. The history of the place was so interesting. We feel priviledged to have stayed here. Also loved being on the water. We particularly enjoyed the Parkside Restaurant, The Loon Lodge, the Thai Blossom, and the Tall Tales Tavern. Everyone should take a tour on the boat Oquossoc Lady. Great history lesson and pleasant experience. We did not have a good experience at the Gingerbread House. We had enjoyed it in the past but this time experienced very poor service. We just loved being in such a beautiful location. Hope we can repeat the experience soon. Lynn and Joe arizzi. Ps Our dogs loved the experience also.
