The house and the property was stunning. Awesome view of the lake sunsets every night over the water. You can see the beauty of nature and the surroundings from everywhere in the house. Gorgeous home, well maintained and all the amenities.
Private, secluded, quiet, one of the best places we've been and stayed. We will be back for sure!!!

The location was absolutely wonderful, we could not have asked for a better house. Everyone who was on the trip had a blast and always had something good to say about the area, the inside of the house, and most of all the back yard. We had a great time and can not wait to come back next summer. I would recommend this house to anyone.

The Darnell house was great, we had two couples with four girls under age 7 and had a blast. The house is spotless and very private, we had moose and deer tracks in the driveway every day. Right on the snowmobile trail, which in the summer was a great place to go for a morning run. Saw a bald eagle fly by while having a drink on the deck one evening. Haley pond is great for kayaks and for the kids to fish. The service at Morton & Furbish was great, we needed wood for the firepit and they had a load out in a couple of hours. A great place to relax.

We enjoyed our stay at the Darnell location! The house was very clean and well maintained. The location is convenient to town and it's surrounding attractions. I would recommend to any family or families looking to get away to the Rangeley area.

Darnell was a wonderful vacation cabin. A few small things needed fixing but it was great. My granddaughter said, "I like grandma's house in Maine!" The staff at Morton and Furbish were very kind and helpful. The drive to Rangeley Lake for swimming was quick and parking was easy and it was great for the small children. We should have done some boating but didn't have a lot of sunny weather.

Nice place for winter weekend. Clean, comfy beds, nice space for kids with ping pong table. Would want screened porch for summer stay. Water is not drinkable, we should have been notified of this. Lots of sulfur, so bring your own cooking/drinking water.

The Darnell owner has put in a new filtration system at his house. The sulfur smell has been taken care of. In our rental agreement, we do advise guests to bring their own drinking water to all of our properties.

We had a great vacation! Home was located in a perfect spot; snowmobile trails right outside your front door and skating a short snowmobile ride across the pond. Kids loved it! We rode the trails to the Gingerbread House and saw deer everywhere. We even had a Bob-Cat visit us at the house one day. If you are looking for a home the provides plenty of space, great location and a comfy feeling this is the home for you! Have fun!!

The service through the agency was excellent!! The property was very nice with lots of room for the extended family. Kitchen facilities were very servicable and the main room attractively decorated. Fresh powder make the skiing great and young and old alike had a great holiday.
