Booked this for a 50th Birthday weekend with friends and couldn't have been more pleased. Perfect set up for entertaining, house was extremely clean. Loved the basement space. Great location for snowshoeing & skiing. Only complaints was kitchen only had one tiny pot and no sheet pan, aluminum foil or plastic wrap. Biggest problem was mattress in basement bedroom hard as a rock. Didn't get any sleep, would be greatly improved with foam pad. Staff at agency was great, will recommend.

The place was extremely spacious and very comfortable for our large group.
The dock at the waters edge was very nice and even had benches to sit on while watching the children play.
As a non direct tv user instructions on using the cable would have been helpful.
Close enough to shops and grocery but far enough away to enjoy the outdoors
Nice place overall. Needs furniture updates and sheets that fit

Morton and furbish were great to deal with as always. It was a nice home overall. Needs some furniture updates and sheets that fit the beds. Not a good place for large snowmobile trailers. There is no place to turn around once your up there. Very tight. Easy access to snowmobile trails. We like staying a little closer to town but still not a bad ride. We enjoyed our stay and the wildlife. Overall good stay.
Snodeo 2013 - Great Weekend

The house was very well equipped with everything you would need and was very clean. It served us well and would rent it again. The only minor complaint I would have is the parking is tough if you have a couple of trucks and snowmobile trailers.

This is a well located and spacious place that we have been taking advantage of for several years. There are amenities that are obviously directed more at the summer renters, such as the golf cars and lake access. One of our group is a great cook so he has been disappointed in the oven that never reaches biscuit temperature. Recipes have to be modified or eliminated. There are sufficient good points to offset this issue.
A nice place for a family vacation

Nice location for snowmobiling with easy access to trails. The down side was there is not a lot of area to park vehicles and trailers
Guys snowmobile weekend, great house!

Booked the house for 4 nights for a guys snowmobile weekend in Rangeley. Great location for snowmobiling, house was very clean, had plenty of beds, great kitchen, and had amenities such as a ping pong table, pool table and poker table-which came in handy on the day of rain we got on the final day of our stay! Already talking about booking this house again for next year for a snowmobiling trip.
Comfortable house with easy access to the lake for snowmobiling

This house was rented during the winter for a snowmobile get-a-way. The house held our group well and was very roomy. The gameroom down stairs was an added bonus which keep us entertained at different times. The house was very clean. The house had easy access to the lake for snowmobiling. The only negative part of this house is parking is tough if you have several trucks with snowmobile trailers. My only other comment is the kitchen could be stocked better with more pots and pans for cooking. I would highly recommend renting this house and hope to rent it myself again in the future.

Good value - not so great parking

Myself and 4 friends rented this cabin for Snodeo 2011. The cabin does indeed sleep 10 (you could actually do 11 in beds plus you have 2 more on the wraparound couch and 1 more on the couch upstairs if you wanted to squeeze them in), however luckily not all 10 came as the parking is not ideal. Especially considering snowmobile season, if you had more than one trailer, you wouldn't have a place to put it. We had 3 trucks and one 4 place trailer and it was a tight fit which should accomodate most, but if you have more than this I would recommend a different cabin. All of the amenities you could want for were provided, including coffee filters, toilet paper, and all dishes so don't waste money on buying throwaways like I did.
Gorgeous and spacious

Being snowmobilers and skiers, Rangeley makes a great destination spot for our family. The Mahara II worked otu great for us. We have a large family so this rental allowed space for everyone.
The game room in the basement provided entertainment for all after a day atthe mountain or on the trails.
The home was clean and modern which is always nice.
Beds are slightly hard... just an FYI.
Morton and Furbish were quick to respond to any concerns we had. We have rented with them in the past. I would suggest going thru an agency.
