A++ rental. Rental service was great. Camp located on beautiful site with wonderful view of Dodge Pond. 15 minutes from Saddleback ski area. Access to snowmobile trails via the pond. Home was in great condition and very clean. Always felt warm with the wood stove providing strong heat. Nice stereo system but would like to have Ipod capability. Would definitely rent again.

Our first year at angel Point View was wonderful. Our Family didn't want to leave we felt so much at home. We are now planning on making this a yearly trip. The mornings was our favorite time with the sun shinning and several deer feeding right outside the window.
We thank the family for letting us stay in there home!

This house is everything you expect a western Maine vacation house to be. It's clean, comfortable, warm and cosy. We completely enjoyed our stay.

3rd or 4th stay, and although the house may not be in quite as good of shape as others,, we always enjoy the week. regrettably the hurricane cut things short, and the weather was, well, unpredictable, it is a house that is homey to rest in, simple but comfortable enough. Has a similar feel to our cabin in west virgiia, so feels like home. One of these years we may stay in one a little more comfortable, that due to age, may feel cleaner, but we had a good time, m and f accomodating and helpful. no doubt we will see you next year
Peaceful vacation on Dodge Pond

The home was lovely and well-equipped. We enjoyed the large deck, lawn, fireplace, outdoor firepit and kayaks. The house is close to walking trails at Orgonon museum. Our only disappointment was that the home is set farther off the water than we anticipated. But we still had nice views and could hear the loons.

We found the home very clean and well appointed. The location was beautiful and quiet. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who is seeking a nice home in a wonderful location.
The cabin was delightful and our experience delightful also.

The location was good, not too far out of town and private. Angel Point #7 was beautiful and well maintained. It was the best equipped cabin we have ever stayed in and we have been coming here for 20 years. The views of the mountains and the lake were awesome. We were able to have a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Thank you
Lovely Cottage but Not for Everyone

This adorable cottage is located on a peaceful inlet of Dodge pond. However, that said, I would not necessarily recommend this unit to everyone. The major problem is that the TV is located in a damp, musty walk out basement with old, uncomfortable furniture. The steep steps leading to the TV room and the adjacent washer/dryer would be difficult for the elderly and young children to navigate safely. Although my companion and I are not big TV watchers, even 30 minutes spent in the uncomfortable, bone chilling basement were 30 minutes too much!
The rest of the house was fine. The master bedroom, in particular, was nicely appointed and comfortable. However, the kitchen could have used a few more basic items such as a dish drain. Read more
Response from Morton & Furbish Rental Agency - 12/16/2010
I wanted to respond to this review as the property manager and someone who has been in this home many times and loves it myself. The only issues we have had with dampness in the basement at this home are in the summer months. The owner has installed a dehumidifier that is checked by housekeeping each time it is cleaned, and there is a separate heating zone for the basement if it feels too cool downstairs. The owner has also installed a small t.v. on the main floor for the guests that would prefer to not use the finished basement as a t.v. room.
