My husband and our two adult children had the pleasure of staying at Muri Tamaariki Villa for 10 days. The property is away from the road and elevated providing a private quiet setting. It had everything we needed including kitchen well equiped with crockery, utenslis, pots etc. Much time was spent enjoying the view from the large covered veranda and cooking local fish on the BBQ.
Within 5 minute walking distance to internet, Pacific Divers, dairy, food outlets and beach access. Leisurely 10 minute stroll to Pacific Resort / Sails Restaurant / Capt Tama's Lagoon Cruises.
This was our 4th visit to Rarotonga (Muri Beach is our favourite spot) and our first renting Tamaariki Villa. If you are looking for great facilities, location and price together with real Island flavour Tamaariki Villa is perfect, and so much better than a resort. -

This is the second time ive stayed at this property. The 1st time we took the children and they had a fab time, this time it was just myself and my partner and it was brilliant. The house is lovely and clean and light, plenty of decking area to sit out, great kitchen and a great location. A beautiful house to stay in, we love it so much weve booked again for 2 weeks for all of us for next year.

The most relaxing holiday was topped by staying at Muri Tamaariki Villa. A wonderful location with a gorgeous view especially at sunrise and sunset. Great facilities than are fresh and clean.
Located at the best area of Rarotonga. So much to see and do. Our dive school was an easy walk, along with the many resorts that were always welcoming. Many an hour every day was spent swimming in the glorious lagoon. Snorkelling with the many tropical fish was just a dream.

Lovely private location and real handy to most amenities. The home itself has all the comforts that you would only find in more expensive resorts.For open air dining, overlooking muri lagoon its hard to find better.

MTV Raro is an impeccably well kept cottage just off the beach that is a great
place to come home to after exploring the island. Muri Lagoon is a great place
to start your adventure (and get some wind activities in if the weather's right)
with many other premium spots available a short scooter ride away.
The house itself is clean, modern, very well equipped and cozy. The beds are
comfortable, the kitchen works great and the BBQ makes the place. Having
laundry on hand is incredibly handy.
The deck overlooking the lagoon makes a great place for meals, even if it rains
as it's fully covered.
A small niggle: the island has a large population of wild chickens, this isn't
something specific to MTV Raro, but if you're a light sleeper, you may want to
consider earplugs for the morning ... wakeup call.
