RAS AL KHAIMAH is the Emirate of beauty and contrast, with its 40 km coastline, mountain range and lush green areas. One of the seven Emirates of the UAE and less cosmopolitan than Dubai, RAK is a cross between the old and the new, modern towns and shopping malls alongside bedoin villages and souqs.
