Description from the manager
Villa Giannino is a graceful villa built upon a terracing almost at the top of the rocky spur on which the town of Ravello stretches, sheer above the sea. From all its observation points you will be able to enjoy the amazing view of the Amalfi Coast and of the sea – that very same view that has made Ravello famous all over the world as the town “suspended between the sky and the sea”.
It is the view that fascinated composers and poets, and that made Richard Wagner fall in love with this place, and from which he took inspiration to write the everlasting music of the Parsifal.

What Past Guests Are Saying
Villa Giannino offers the most beautiful view! So relaxing!
The Villa Giannino apartment was very clean and adequatly equipped. But the absolutely best place is the patio. It´s huge and the view is stunning, among top 3 that I have seen during my 3 holidays in Italy. The steps down/up are really not any problem.
Ravello is a beautiful, little town. There is not much to see but we also enjoyed a few days just reading and relaxing on the patio and in the evening we went out for a dinner. There are many very good restaurants but I recommend to eat e.g.in amalfi town as well. We think that the food in the amalfi area was the most delicious in Italy.
The only negative thing was with the loction that from Ravello it takes always 15-30 mins until you are down by the sea in amalfi and the buses were sometimes really full. ( Well, then you would miss the view :) And also not any good grocery store in Ravello. The ones that are have robbery prices.
But if you choose Ravello, the Giannino is very good choice.
Fabulous location and wonder property at a great price!
This was such a great place to stay, because of location no street noises but once you went up the stairs you are at street level and the bus stop is just across the street, in addition the center square for Ravello it is located less than 5 minutes through a short pedestrian tunnel (Villa Rufolo was right there). Its location was perfect and the view from three rooms of the house were amazing. The large patio was great and if you had a large group renting Villa a and B would be perfect. Was thrilled to determine that two solid twin beds together (no shifting, just perfect) were actually the size of a California King (between Queen and King size) that was great to learn since my husband is 6'5" and 275 pounds! We ended up taking the wrong train and having Summer in Italy's customer service professionals (speaking English) was fantastic help in getting us back on track!
