The views from this Amalfi coast accommodation are magnificent, with the water just below the property providing private sea access and large terraces equipped with lounge chairs and sun umbrellas.
The villa in which this apartment is situated is located outside of Minori, in an area called Marmorata which is below the mediaeval town of Ravello. This beautiful residence belongs to an old aristocratic family; it has that special charm and character typical of pe...riod homes with a rich historical background with majolica tiled floors, ceramics, and high arched ceilings throughout. The villa is a restored paper mill that was converted a long time ago, like many others in the area, into two large private apartments. The water is just below the property, with private access to the sea and three large private terraces, each equipped with lounge chairs and sun umbrellas. There are two apartments above this accommodation, one of which can be rented under the name Manso. This apartment is also connected by an internal staircase of three steps to the apartment Ceramica Terrace. The wisteria terrace belongs to Ceramica Terrace. Next door there is a hotel, great for breakfast.

The small pool wasn't filled until the evening. I did not like sharing the property with the owner next door.
The beauty was unmatched and the people were gracious, warm and friendly. Lovely and basically untouched by time.

Building is a very interesting old paper mill hanging over the ocean with a waterfall right next door.
The kitchen! The terraces off each bedroom with the incredible view of the Tyrrhenian.
The living room does not open to the outside, but since we had both apartments, we used the kitchen in one and the terrace in the other.

The location was amazingly beautiful, and more convenient than we expected. The parking was good, the children's wading pool was a big plus, and the house was close to nice beaches and towns. The house was advertised as three bedrooms, with a fourth available on request. It was, however, two bedrooms with a third available on request.
The landlady was very difficult and disheartened our experience somewhat. The house was pretty, but uncomfortably warm, and the air was close and still. There were no fans or screens, our kids got mosquito bites. <
The waterfall, the snorkeling, the water, the beach at Minori, the cliffside road, the Emerald Grotto, and Amalfi.

The owners were very polite as was the contact/rental agent.
The location was fantastic and the apartment was very spacious. We enjoyed walking into Minori each morning for coffee and supplies for the day.
There was a musty odor that I feel is unavoidable due to the age of the home and it's proximity to the water.
Ravello was fabulous; the entire region was gorgeous and I would highly recommend visiting this area and staying here!

We enjoyed the Italian tile floors, large rooms, unbeatable view and position.
The view, the cliffside position, the spaciousness of the rooms, and swimming straight off the steps into the sea.
The Amalfi coast. Ravello has a steep climb but is worth it.
