Charming loft style studio apartment accommodation in Paris with mezzanine, fully renovated in August 2010, with living area, kitchen and bathroom on the main floor, and separate sleeping area on the mezzanine, located on the 1st floor of an 18th century period building (no elevator) in the heart of the Marais, in the 3rd arrondissement.
The entrance to this 24sq.mt apartment, with a 12sq.mt mezzanine area, opens up directly into the kitchen area, which presents high ceilings with its double volume. The apartment is located in the3ème arrondissementin the livelyquartierof thePompidou Centre, known as Beaubourg, which offers much in the way of visual art.
To the north of the Pompidou Centre numerous commercial art galleries and the odd bookshop andsalon de théoccupy the attractive hôtels particuliers of narrow, pedestrian rue Quincampoix. Halfway down the street on the right is the delightful, cobbled passage Molière, with its quirky shops.
South of the Pompidou Centre, rue Renard runs down to the Hôtel de Ville, the seat of the city's government and a mansion of gargantuan proportions in florid neo-Renaissance style, modelled pretty much on the previous building burned down in the Commune. An illustrated history of this edifice, always a prime target in riots and revolutions, is displayed along the platform of M° Châtelet on the Neuilly Vincennes line.

The place is really nice, and especially for Chinese, as many Chinese shop and restaurant around. It is also near to Metro.
The axtra fee (check-in) is not clear in the booking page. And the delay fee is also charged. One heater in the living room does not work. Other facilities are OK. But hotel staff not prepare all the articles for living, like the cube in the washing machine. -

This modern, and charming space was well laid out to live, work and relax in the heart of Paris. An absolute sanctuary to come home to and a joy to wake up to.

Service from the agent was good. The walk-up apartment on the 1st floor is small but clean (the kitchen needs some upgrading though) and comfortable. The beds are comfortable but the loft is bit claustrophohic. Fre wifi works great. It's 5 mins walk to 2 subways and close to great restaurants and shops around Marais. The only thing we didn't like was the lobby / ground floor and condition of the apartment building common areas. The garbage bins on the ground floor on your way up the stairs is quite an eye sore and not the best first impression when you get in. There's no parking on the one way street but you can find 2 expensive parking garages close by.

The entrance was dirty and old. The day when I moved they start the reparation of the basement. During the day it was a noise and the workers had taken "showers "using the faucet in the corridor of the main entrance and they sneezed loudly.”
In the apartment: the bathroom and the kitchen were old and stinky.
It was unpleasant to sleep in proximity of the ceiling with wooden beam not well repaired (with some insects).
The floor in the apartments wasn't horizontal.
The good sides: internet connection, telephone, and TV (even if I am not a fan of it), la cafetera, bed linen and the main idea of design.
