GlasgowPerfect place to relax after a day exploring!
Left on 01/27/2013 for a stay in January 2013
I stayed here for a week in January with a friend and we loved every minute of it! The apartment is in a fabulous complex and the neighbours were delightful. We had everything we could possibly want in the apartment and enough room to keep two people very happy. We enjoyed coming back to our Marais apartment every evening and relaxing in complete comfort! It was so simple to organise with Yvonne. We will be recommending this to everyone we know who are going to Paris.

As soon as my husband and I saw the green outside door, we felt as if we had returned home. The apartment is charming and cozy. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was easily available... markets, cafes and metro stations.
I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wishes to be part of Paris for a few days. -

We loved our time in your Marais apartment- great location, close to metro and supermarket and great neighborhood - so much to see and do. Loved the old hotels, the shopping, restaurants and filafels. Enjoyed the apartment compex experience, other tenants were very polite and helpful.
The apartment itself was stylish and although compact had everything we needed. The only issue came from our 15 year old who was expecting a better stocked pantry! It was pretty bare on our arrival.
We would def come again and recommend to our friends. -

Brisbane, AustraliaA wonderful week in Paris
Left on 11/03/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We stayed in Yvonne's apartment from 4th October to 12th October. It was perfect for us. Convenient - near the Temple metro station. Well-equipped for us to prepare meals. Comfortable. Very quiet for sleeping. Seemingly quite secure because of the 2 levels of key-code security doors protecting access at night. And the French neighbours to Yvonne's unit were very friendly.
Also the representative of the property manager met us on time on our arrival - and returned at the agreed time of our departure, so we could catch our plane. The property manager representative was polite, courteous and helpful - and returned our security deposit on our departure without issue.
Our daughter came over from Ireland to visit us for 4 days, and extra bed-clothes were provided at 20 euros per night. The extra bed is achieved with the lounge folding out into a comfortable bed.
So in summary, Yvonne's apartment lived up to our expectations - and we would be happy to stay here again, if we return to Paris. -

My sister and I stayed for 6 nights in September in this lovely little apartment in Le Marais and I highly recommend it. It is clean, comfortable, very central and ideally located for metros, shops, cafes, and has a very good Monoprix shop/supermarket a few minutes walk from the apartment. Many notable places are within walking distance including Place des Voges, Pompidou Centre, rue de Rivoli, Notre Dame etc. Being able to be self-catering can make a huge difference to one's budget and we made some delicious dinners! There is a great bakery almost next door and the Monoprix has fresh fruit and vegetables; there is also the amazing Marche des Enfants Rouges just around the corner with fabulous fresh produces and great little eateries - warning! - very popular Saturday lunchtime; don't leave it late! One thing to note:If you wish to use the sofa bed as well as the main bed, don't forget to clear this with the owner first so the laundry can be sorted and costs agreed.

My husband and I spent seven nights in Chic Marais apartment. Our check in and out was faultless, and Joan provided us with helpful information to make our stay comfortable and stress free. The apartment provided all the comforts of home and allowed us to eat in. The week we arrived was extremely hot, 38 degrees Celsius, so air conditioning would have made our stay more comfortable. The location was excellent and was in walking distance to Notre Dame Cathedral and Place de Voges. Shopping was excellent and great restaurants close by. I would highly recommend this apartment and look forward to returning.

Thankyou Yvonne, our stay in your apartment was perfect, a great location close to metros and all the attractions but in a non touristy area that makes you feel like a local. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby and a lovely park across the street. The apartment was modern and clean with excellent amenities and everything you could need, but in a classic French building complete with red geranium window boxes- just perfect. From the time of booking to arriving all details and correspondence was perfect and easy. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this apartment to my friends. Spent 6 nights in the apartment and it was absolutely perfect. Best location for transport and access to all of Paris's sights using, trains, buses and of course,Velib bikes. We rode around during the day and night and felt completely safe. Facilities in the apartment are excellent and it is very easy to cook up your own Parisian delights. Monprix super market is just 100m away and great for all your supplies and Wine!!.
Great restaurants, Bistros and cafes abound and it is so easy to dine out cheaply with good food. Try Cafe Musee on Rue de Turenne, bit of a walk but worth it! A picnic in the park opposite, watching the locals is also a great way to dine.
Booking, arrival and check out was a breeze and very organised.
This apartment is a great base for the best time in Paris.
Highly recommended!

BrisbaneA Week in Paris
Left on 08/13/2012 for a stay in June 2012
My boyfriend and I spent five nights in the apartment in June of this year. It was a wonderful base from which to explore Paris - right in the centre of the Marais with parks, cafes, shops and one of the oldest food markets in Paris right outside the door. The apartment itself was lovely, with a modern kitchen and bathroom, comfortable bed and cute sitting area. I loved the window boxes and there were many thoughtful little touches dotted around the place, including books and maps of Paris and some useful kitchen supplies. Perfect for a romantic week away, living the Parisian dream.

We loved everything about this apartment, with one little complaint. This is probably due to the nature of apartment living, but weekend nights were pretty noisy into the wee hours of the morning due to parties in other apartments surrounding the courtyard. Other than this, we would not have changed a thing.

The apartment profile states this is a "Home away from home" and believe me,they aren't kidding! The moment we walked into this apartment we felt welcomed and perfectly at home. Usually, the first thing we do upon arriving at our destination (especially if we are using an apartment) is to buy some household provisions but the owners had so thoughtfully provided everything we needed (including sugar, coffee, jam, butter and so many other treats) we only needed milk that first day!
The lovely apartment is situated in the ever-chic, ever-fashionable Marais district and many of the big Paris attractions are within walking distance. The neighbourhood abounds with lovely cafes and restaurants, we were spoiled for choice.
The apartment has been lovingly cared for...it's very bright and clean and the amenities seem quite new. My 16-year old daughter loved that there was an iPod dock! The bed is comfortable and the linen was adequate and of good quality. Because the apt.is part of a typical Parisian courtyard where you can hear neighbours talking and the smells of their cooking, I felt like a regular Parisian...and absolutely cherished the experience!
We had a wonderful time, both in the apartment
and in Paris and will definitely do this again!
p.s. Forgot to mention: booking the apartment,check-in and check-out were a breeze. Thank you Yvonne, Phillipe and Jean. -

A small but comfortable, well-equipped, well-presented and quiet apartment in a good location with 2 supermarkets and a good variety of restaurants, and bars close by and a very nice boulangerie with takeaway espresso only a few doors down. Metro stations are only a few minutes' walk and there is a local market on the other side of the park opposite the apartment building (although I think the fruit is better quality from the supermarket).

The apartment was a delight. Bright, well renovated with the charm expected of the Marais.Location is very close to two metro statiions on the edge of the Marais. Great bathroom and very comfortable bed. A simple blanket rather than thick doona would have been good as it was hot at that time. The booking was smooth. Only comment is the payment of a cash bond of 400 euro only. Acceptance of another currency or even a credit card would have been far more convenient. Luckily we were able to use the euro later. The agent turned up right on time and was very helpful. Would definately stay again.

My wife and I stayed at this apartment for 3 wonderful weeks. Very well located (close to 3 metro stations and all other services), it is clean, well furnished/equipped (including Hdtv, DVD player, free phone & Internet) and, most important, cosy and very quiet as it is within a lovely courtyard. We were very well taking care off by the leasing manager who was there to greet us and provide us with required information related to all equipments. It was our eleventh trip to Paris. As you can imagine, we've seen a lot of apartments and without hesitation, we would recommend this one to any of our friends.

Absolutely the best location - N Marais in a fantastic neighbourhood. Quiet at night, safe streets. Great market on Rue de Bretagne, boulangerie, fruits, vegs, and cheeses. Had breakfast/coffee to start the day at Cafe Charlot. Great breakfast 11EU. Happy hour starts at 7pm if you enjoy that and some great food. The park across the street was smelled sweet of spring flowers and lilacs, and everywhere the sound of birds chirping. Clean and peaceful - old and young alike enjoyed the neighbourhood park. Velibe bike station across the street and Metro just a block away. Walked to Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville, BHV, as well as Bastile, Place de Vosges and all the great shopping in Marais - Rue de Veille Temple - 20mins to Notre Dame on foot. Wonderful designer shops in the neighbourhood. Merci store just a few blocks away. Concierge met us at the apt on time and showed us around and how everything worked. Had the door pass numbers emailed before we arrived. Bed is queen and comfortable - great pillows and linens. Wifi, I-pod alarm clock/radio. Wonderful roof top views and fresh air for sleeping. Great kitchen - was able to do light load of laundry mid week. Apt. is as it appears. - good finishes, well maintained, and a great place to come home to at end of long day on foot. It seems larger than 32-34 sq metres. Quiet neighbours - felt like we lived in Paris - so much better than a hotel. The location gave us the 'experience' we were looking for. Would highly recommend to friends. Compared to a hotel where the space is much smaller,it felt like we came 'home' every day. Hated to leave. Great reference book for us to use on how to use washer, how micro/convection oven worked, TV etc.

Perfect location, close to - everything that matters! minutes away from trendy botiques and cool coffee shops, a short velo ride away from the pompidou centre, Notre Dame, Champs Elysee etc a compact apartment that provided a comfortable base from which to explore the city. Situated in the inner courtyard of an old apartment block,we felt that the apartment the apartment gave us an authentic experience of Parisienne living; its situation in an inner courtyard offered night -time peace and quiet, and a sense of security which allowed the teenagers to stay in at night if they so wished, and the lift made coming and going easy. All in all, we felt that it offered comfort and flexibility that we were looking for while on holiday with teenagers. A terrific find, and we will certainly be using it again!
