Incredibly well located studio, newly renovated by architect, this beautiful oasis is in the Marais district in the center of Paris, near Metro stations Chatelet/Les Halles, Rambuteau and Etienne Marcel, just down the street from the Centre Pompidou.

This studio helped make our week in Paris perfect. It is the right size for one or two people, on a quiet street at the edge of the 1st and 3rd arrondissements. The kitchen allowed us to cook, if we wanted, with shops for bread, fruits, wine, etc only steps away. Furnishings were comfortable and reflective of the area. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Security was excellent, and the elevator an unusual plus in the Paris. There was little to no street or building noise.
Close to the several Metro stops/lines, transportation was easy. It was near a major boulevard if we needed a taxi but also near walking streets and the most diverse street food vendors imaginable. Although close to the Pompidou Center, tourists were rare in this bustling area.
The rental agent, an expat New Yorker, was both professional and friendly. She made the arrangements clear and easy. My only suggestion would be to have at least one Euro in change to call her from the airport when you arrive.
We will definitely rent this apartment again. -

We rented one of Naomi's apartments in the very last minute and we had excellent communication with the owner without any other additional formalities. We had wonderfull stay in the beautifull apartment with very Parisian athmosphere:)Smoking apartment of one old dancer lady.
The location was near to the most of the sights of the town and the building was very safe.
We could come back in this apartment in our future stay in Paris!

Hello and thank you so much for the review! Just one thing that might confuse other people reading this - this apartment is not the smoking apartment of the old dancer lady! That apartment you stayed at was up in the 17th arrondissement. This is not a smokers apartment. Here, a person may only smoke out on the patio, and although this is the Marais, I'm afraid you will not find any old dancer ladies here ;-) . I'm very glad I could help out with the extreme last-minute search!

The apartment is a few minutes walk to two central Metro stations (Les Halles and Rambuteau). Even though, we only seldom used it - and this only at night, on our way back home - because the place is at the walking distance from most of the attractions we planned to visit: Louvre, Jardin de Tulieries, Orangerie, Notre Dame, Saint Germain des Pres, Les Invalides, Musee de Rodin, Tour d'Eiffel, Hotel de Ville, Musee d'Orsey ... The apartment itself was clean and convenient. On our first night there we happened to enter a next door apartment. There was no comparison. The other apartment, although of the same size, was rather bland, with a primitive layout. We credit our hostess with making the apartment comfortable and attractive. The arrangement helped us spend about 900 euros less than we originally planned. There's a supermarket in the vicinity and several small vendors on the block. If anything, the apartment lacked a window with a view. But given our hectic tourist schedule, we never gave that a second thought. We had our breakfast and late dinner in the apartment (the facilities were excellent) and spend the rest of our waking hours outside. On the whole, it was a perfect place to stay.

My partner and I stayed here for one week last year and we are planning to stay again this year. We love the location and the quiet solitude of the lovely apartment. It is so close to everything and such a peaceful respite. The place is elegantly done and has a true "old world" classic European feel. We loved it! It has everything you need and the bed and bathroom are superbly comfortable and modern. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone or couple. The patio is also delightful! Five stars all the way...
