"Le Classique Du Marais" is a classic Medievel-style one bedroom loft apartment. The building is from the 16th Century, one of the oldest type of buildings in Paris. Beautiful historic details include terracotta floo...rs, original wooden ceiling beams, and ornate fireplace.

The apartment is 32 square meters, and features a living room with renovated open-style kitchen, a bathroom with WC, sink and shower.

The loft bedroom features a double-size bed, closets, dresser, 2 night tables, television, dvd player, DVD Collection.

There is also a new comfortable double-size sofa-bed that can sleep an additional 2 people in the living room.

Full linens and towels are provided for your stay.

The kitchen has recently been upgraded with a fridge/freezer, ceramic stovetop, lighting, microwave, combination washer/dryer, new stone tile and counter-top.

The bathroom is also fully updated and features a spacious walk-in shower and towel warmer.

The TV will let you see what's going on in the world with hundreds of channels in many languages and CNN and BBC in English. But remember, you didn't come to Paris to care about what's going on in the world. So set it to some digital classical radio instead and sip some wine and nibble some fromage, now that's better.

Although I was unable to meet my greeter due to flight delays, Lauren was very helpful and ensured the apartment was warm and cosy for my arrival.   Lovely little flat in great location near 2 stations and lots of shops / restaurants. Interior is very cost with high quality appliances. Only tip is that the downstairs floor is tiled and the upstairs carpet it s bit abrasive on your feet so some thick socks / slippers for when you are indoors might be an idea :-). Apart from that, can't fault it.

  Charming apartment, in quiet, centrally located Paris neighborho

  Cobblestone runs a really great operation. The service from when you book the apartment, to the lovely greeter meeting you at the door of the building is excellent. Cobblestone go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and are there if you need them. They offer great extras like free wireless (and free international calls), along with movies, and guide books.
  
  I have been to Paris many times, but this time we really special, and the apartment made such an impact. The area was quiet, close to the metro, easily accessible via the eurostar, and great local amenities: 2 grocery stores, a bakery, cafes, restaurants, all on your door step. Au Bascou in particular was an amazing restaurant within 5 minutes walk, l'absinthe was a great cafe for a quick bite, or a nice evening drink with a great atmosphere. There is a great market nearby as well, that is great for food, stop by and pick up some ingredients for dinner, or simply stop by for a bite and some great wine.
  
  The apartment is of a normal size by European standards, but the living room/kitchen may seem a bit small by american standards. It is well laid out with the bedroom on the 2nd level, and a nice comfy bed and TV upstairs. The kitchen is a small galley style kitchen that was great for 1 person to operate in and had everything you needed. I would not recommend this property for elderly or less able bodied travellers because of the spiral staircase up to the bedroom.
  
  I really do recommend Cobblestone highly, and really enjoyed the apartment. It made a really nice change from staying in a hotel!

  Cozy apartment in a central area of Paris

  Having been to Paris before we decided to rent an apartment and Cobblestone was the most reputable we found after a bad experience with fraud from a Vrbo hacker.
  
  Before we arrived we had emails from our greeter, Lauren. When we arrived at the apartment, Lauren was awaiting us at the front door. She gave us a tour of the apartment and showed us how to operate everything. She left us with a nice bottle of wine and some chocolates which was a nice touch.
  
  Lauren then took quite a bit of time to tell us about the area and parts of Paris that were off the beaten path to visit. Having been to Paris before, we didn't realise how much we had actually missed on our visits, and some great tips from Lauren took us to some neighborhoods we had never seen, which we really enjoyed and thoroughly appreciated.
  
  The apartment itself is quite cozy, with a galley style kitchen that is perfect for one to operate in. We did small amounts of cooking when we were too tired after a long day of walking to go out, and it made a really nice change to be able to go to the market and get some really fresh food to have for dinner. It was also great to have a base where you could just relax in the evening with a nice book and a good bottle of wine with the window open enjoying the weather.
  
  The bedroom is quite cosy with a good sized and very comfortable bed. The free Wifi was most appreciated as I normally come back to the UK with a huge bill for data when I travel, so this made life much easier for us and allowed us to bring the ipad with us to do research for each days "adventure".
  
  The area that the apartment is in felt very safe and was quiet. The area couldn't be better for getting to the metro with 3 metro stops in easy walking distance. 2 grocery stores, a good bakery, and many good restaurants and cafes are also very close by. Loved our stay, loved Cobblestone and really loved the area!
