paris apt rental bliss
Left on 03/16/2013 for a stay in February 2013
we are seasoned international travelers but had never gone the apt rental route (we usually do B&B; but never want to wake up early enough to enjoy the breakfast!); so we decided to try the paris apt rental experience...and were quite happy with our choice! sure we had lots of Q&A; to our rental agency prior to arrival to be sure we were getting what we bargained for...but after this experience we are planning to go the apt rental route from now! the apt we rented is a studio apartment appropriate for a couple: 1) very clean and lots of storage in the wonderful built-in closets but we would have liked a built-in safe (like in hotels with punch code and bolted to wall), 2) very comfy queen-sized sofabed (paris futon-like sofabeds are miles more comfortable than USa sofabeds) but needed 2 more bed pillows, 3) a good kitchen with appliances/dishes (except no can/bottle opener (we had to buy one)) with euro-sized fridge with freezer but we would have liked a microwave as the oven was a convection oven 4) excellent large stone tile shower with separate toilet room, and 5) the apt was secure with a typical paris elevator; the apt was very quiet on an off-street but within walking distance of many high-ranked Tripadvisor restaurants in the Marais; we felt like a local wandering to the supermarket in a short walk and to 6 boulangeries nearby to try a multitude of baguettes; we utilized the kitchen by eating out lunch and buying bread, wine, cheese, pastries for a candlelit meal some nights---cozy, romantic and truly Parisian!) 6) the wifi worked excellently but the tv was predominantly (as expected) French but we had 3 English stations (news), 7) as we were there in Feb we were concerned about the heat but the room was well heated centrally and the shower had good pressure/heat 8) the euro washer worked well for light loads (underwear, towels, jeans) but don't expect USa drying standards---the wooden dryer rack available worked well to dry our clothes by the heater; there is an ironing board and iron but we didn't need them; no clear directions to the washer/dryer...we googled and figured it out and bought the smallest box of powder detergent (skip for 4 euro) for our week stay. ***All in all, a real Paris enjoyment but a few recommendations to the rental agency: a little more communication would have been appropriate (eg check-in with us during week and have list of what to do in case of fire? theft? electrical failure? illness?) It is not a question of language but more details for using apt items and some clearer directions to/from places. Again, a very good experience…just a little more attention to us by the rental agency to make us feel settled-in and informed would have been appreciated and would have given this rental 5 stars.

Left on 03/14/2013 for a stay in February 2013

Left on 10/18/2012 for a stay in September 2012
My husband and I went to Paris for a week, stayed with a friend te first jalf of the week and then moved to the flat. We loved everything about it. Although it is just a studio, it is really spacious, everything is perfectly layout and left for you to feel at home. Its about a 10 minute walk to the metro station. We would really recommend a stay here. The only downside was a bar that is in a corner near the building that on first night got really packed and loud until 4am. If you are looking to sleep in I am not so sure this will be the place. But if you can deal with the noise don't even doubt it. Enjoy!

My first trip to Paris and husband's second after a long time. With some trepidation, we decided on an apartment rather than a hotel so we could enjoy a small neighborhood. It was a very good decision. Mr. Perez answered my emails promptly and put me at ease. Jeremy met us at the apartment to give us our keys, orient us to the apartment and its surroundings and made us feel welcome and comfortable.
The studio apartment looks exactly as it does in the pictures and was very clean. We enjoyed the contemporary decor and the useful wall of storage. Also, we felt very safe within the apartment itself and in the neighborhood. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is a small elevator to take you there. One important detail: we brought the wrong adaptors; you need the special ones that are equipped for round outlets.
There is no view to speak of, but you only need to walk a few blocks to find one. The apartment lets in plenty of light and the Juliet balcony is great to experience Paris breezes. We found Sebastien and Jeremy to be very professional and helpful and would book with them again. A good deal in the Marais!

Ideal for a couple who want to experience Paris close-up. The apartment is cosy, but perfectly adequate. The kitchen has all the appliances one might require during your stay. The staff from LivinParis was very friendly and helpful.

Left on 09/24/2012 for a stay in September 2012
I have just spent 2 nights in this charming flat with my partner and have to say it's even nicer than the photos suggest. The location is both quiet and very central. The sofa takes less than 10 seconds to make into a bed and is really comfortable. I booked, thinking it was small but would do for 2 nights - it's not as small as I thought and I could easily spend a week or two there, no problem.I can't recommend it enough. The flat has all the facilities you require and the neighbourhood is full of restaurants, bars and nice food shops.

Left on 07/19/2012 for a stay in June 2012
This apartment was great for our stay. There was a problem with the internet at first, but Jeremy and Jean-Phillipe were very helpful and solved the problem very quickly! The apartment was in a fantastic location - very nice shops around the area and a metro stop very close for visiting other areas. The bed was comfortable, the apartment was found very clean. The only thing we thought it needed was maybe a chopping board in the kitchen! Other than that we really enjoyed our 5 nights in this studio! Thanks

SingaporeGreat apartment in La Marais
Left on 07/16/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We were greeted at the apartment by Jeremy who gave us good information, including orientating us on the La Marais area and where is the nearby park to bring our kid. We stayed a week in this lovely apartment, the La Marais area is great as just round the corner there is a row of shops that sells fresh fruits and vegetables (which u can cook in the apartment). The kitchen is fully equipped with essential utensils and ware you need to prepare your own breakfast.
The only downside was the apartment didn't have air-conditioning, which towards the end of the week when the summer weather started to get warm, we were sweating in our sleep. Also, the wireless allowed only 1 iphone/laptop/ipad to be connected at anytime and that stopped working on the last 2 days.
Other than that, the apartment was well-maintained and we enjoyed our stay!Response from SEBASTIEN PEREZ - 07/16/2012

Vancouvera perfect Paris apartment
Left on 06/29/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We were greeted at the apartment entrance (very nice since we arrived a bit early), and had a quick tour of the apartment. We basically booked this suite because it had a good kitchen(a necessity because my husband has food allergies, so it's nice to know you can cook something if need be)and those lovely large windows that open to the streets. Everything was really clean, well kept and was all that we needed. The location was also good, you can walk to many sights or take the metro around the corner (we walked), lots of small designer shops, restaurants and grocery store within a few minutes walk. I loved the character of the building, and the neighborhood and it was perfect for our stay - the only thing is that while it's a non-smoking suite, the building definetly has smokers (it's Paris), but the smoke does come in around the door and the hallways can be quite smokey at times.

Left on 06/21/2012 for a stay in May 2012
Tiny but workable apartment within walking distance of everything and surrounded by great cafes and restaurants. Very workable apartment with almost everything you could need. Easy kitchen to work in - just need a bottle opener and cutting board - then perfect. Lovely new shower. Great big windows opening on to the street to let in the light. A small lift for carting heavy bags. We felt very safe in this neighbourhood and would stay here again.

Left on 06/01/2012 for a stay in May 2012
As a first time visitor to Paris, I was a little nervous to rent an apartment over the internet, but Sebastien was so great about answering all of my questions before hand I decided to go for it and couldn't be more pleased with the flat! Someone was there to meet me at the door give me the tour and the apartment immediately made me smile when I walked in. It is small, but such great light and very nicely decorated, it feels large. Very comfortable sofa bed and everything you need in the kitchen. Quiet neighborhood...but also lots of cafes right down the block. Had trouble getting the internet to work (only could do e-mail and get French websites strangely) but this might be my own techno lack.
2 Suggestions: a small facecloth towel for the bathroom and a full length mirror (maybe put on the back of the front door) would make
extra perfect.
thanks!

Washington, DCCozy apartment in a vibrant neighborhood
Left on 05/31/2012 for a stay in May 2012
We stayed here for five nights in May and couldn't have been happier with our experience. Sebastien and Jean-Philippe were so accommodating, both during the booking process and giving us a thorough tour at check-in. The apartment was stocked with everything we could want or need during our short stay, and the neighborhood was ideal--close to a Metro, within walking distance of many tourist attractions, and lovely in its own right, with a variety of restaurants, shops and markets. Highly recommended!

This was a great little flat in a fabulous location. The apartment had all that we needed (fully equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, cable tv, wireless) in a safe location near all kinds of great amenities and metro stops. The neighborhood is young, vibrant, and felt very Parisian. There are great shops and boutiques in the immediate vicinity. We would definitely stay here again. It was a great launching pad for a fabulous week in Paris.

Our stay in the Le Marais apartment was a perfect fit for our short stay in Paris. Very close to the Metro. The apartment exceeded our expectations and we were greeted with a warm welcome. The apartment was well equipped with everything needed to cook for ourselves. The fold-out bed was incredibly comfortable and easy to use. For my next stay in Paris, I will certainly be looking into this unit again!

Left on 02/10/2012 for a stay in January 2012
Absolutely great stay. Was lovely and warm given it barely reached 0 degrees outside. Clean, comfortable, great size. Loved having a little balcony. Bed was very comfy with quality bedding. Kitchen facilities, washing machine, tv, wifi all worked flawlessly. Washing machine was a big bonus. All round fantastic place. Doing the apartment thing as opposed to a hotel is so much nicer.
Only improvements I would suggest would be a chopping board, can opener and working blender in the kitchen. Also an information sheet on how to use the washing machine, tv, stovetop etc, as many may not work it out for themselves. Also perhaps an information sheet on Le Marais. Where is the market? Wine shop? Bakery? Good local bar? Coffee shop? etc. Otherwise we had a nearly perfect stay, and would recommend it without hesitation. We'll be staying next time we're back in Paris (Think we'll do summer next time though!)
Thanks! -

We came to Paris for our first time and had such a great time in such a great place. The place was so close to everything and with 2 metro lines so close if you can't walk somewhere it's so easy to get the metro. Overall great experience and would definately stay again and recomend to my friends.
