'Marais-Picasso' was fully renovated by a leading Parisian architect in 2012. Works have been completed to the highest of standards to create what is very much a ‘luxury’ space at the top of the range in our portfolio. The kitchen is fitted with top of the range appliance and walnut work surfaces imported from the United States. Both the bathrooms and kitchen are decorated with tiles from Italy in elegant, natural tones.

Sip Jasmine Tea at the elegant 'Mariages Frères' where Parisian chic meets colonial ambience. Follow the ancient street signs engraved in stone. Explore medieval alleyways. Push open doors leading to romantic courtyards. My family and I (2 adults, 3 teens) just returned from our trip to Paris where we stayed at the Marais Picasso. The apartment was perfect. Modern, sparkling clean, even fresh flowers on the table for us. Plenty of room for a family of 5 to spread out and relax. It was cool so we slept with the windows open with a cool breeze coming in, vey quiet neighborhood even with the windows open! The metro stop is around the corner, markets for meat, fish, produce, bread and pastries just around the corner on Rue Bretagne. Several wonderful restaurants within a block. Loved it!

The six people in my family had a very comfortable stay at this Marais address. It is steps away from a Metro and down the street from cafes, boutiques and a wonderful historic market.
The apartment is modern and clean with lots of windows and light. The owner Mr. Burgess was easy to work with and very helpful. -

CambridgeComfort and convenience in a really characterful area of Paris
Left on 01/05/2012 for a stay in February 2012
My partner and I had a really relaxing break staying with friends at this lovely light flat in the Marais. James, the owner, was really helpful in accommodating our preferred dates and arranging for check-in. We had stayed at another of James' properties near the Louvre a few years' ago when it was just the two of us but this was the first time we had rented this larger apartment. The flat was very clean and stylishly decorated, with a well-equipped kitchen and quality linens, and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. There was also a lift which is quite rare in Paris apartment blocks which would be useful for older visitors or those manhandling pushchairs. All of us are frequent visitors to Paris so most of our time was spent being lazy and just soaking up the atmosphere in the local area which was packed with small restaurants and bars and unusual shops tucked away in sidestreets. The food market at Enfants Rouges is great for picking up fresh French produce. However, for those intending to "see" Paris, the Marais is within manageable walking distance of most of the main Paris sights and we were right by a metro station for our occasional trips across town. We just wish that we had been able to stay longer.
