Light floods in from the quaint courtyard with views of floral and greens from all the windows. All the fit out is quality and sisal/natural weave carpet is laid throughout.

Unusual antique pieces sourced by the owner in Brussels are dotted through out. A quality kitchenette houses all your essentials and the shower room boasts a powerful directional shower with a separate WC.

The bedroom is tucked away at the end of the apartment calm and quiet with a quality queen s...ize bed.

22 rue de Picardie 75003 Paris is located in the Marais 5 mins away you arrive on rue de Bretagne a lively market street full of cafes restaurants shops and market stalls selling fresh produce. Square de Temple is a beautiful Parisian Park pleasant to take a seat or stroll at your leisure....In the heart of the Marais you will find this gem apartment tucked away in a quiet leafy private courtyard. Centrally located 10 to 15 minutes walk you will be at all the famous sites Pompidou-Hotel de Ville-Notre Dame-Louvre....

Metro Filles du Calvaire is 10 minutes away and accesses all of greater Paris.

22 rue de Picardie is an ancient convent built on the remains of the Temple of Paris, headquarters of the famed Templars, the religious order that had built its fame and fortune during the Crusades before falling in disgrace when the King of France felt the threat of their power and clout, back in the 14th century.

The remains of the once huge compound were demolished over the centuries. However, for practical reasons, the main outer walls were incorporated in new buildings, such as this one, built backing on to the eastern wall (in the blue circle). It is now the house’s corridor wall. A 12th century wall.

To see more of it, go to the Café Rouge, a few metres up rue de Picardie on nº 32. In the back of the beautiful main hall, you’ll see a wide round recess: It’s the watchtower you can see on the image below, just left of the circle.

  Owner was in excellent communication with us prior to our visit, very helpful upon arrival, and even more so after our departure. We left something very important in the room and it was promptly mailed back to us at no charge! Very helpful! Wonderful to deal with.

  Con mia moglie avevamo deciso di soggiornare a Parigi in casa, non è la prima volta che scegliamo questa città come meta, per vivere maggiormente a contatto con gli abitanti ed i palazzi di questa magnifica città. L'appartamento scelto é risultato essere anche dal vivo molto carino e confortevole, appena ristrutturato con ottimo gusto, posizionato in una strada tranquilla del Marais, servito da diverse linee della metro, e con vista all'interno di un cortile alberato che nulla toglie al suo fascino. Consigliabile non solo a giovani, ma anche a dei turisti che come noi a raggiunto i 50 anni di età! In ultimo vi segnalo l'estrema gentilezza e disponibilità di Dairin che ci ha accolti al nostro arrivo,

  Marais Haven is a great place to stay

  My spouse and I stayed at Marais Haven over a long weekend. The apartment is small with an efficient use of space, but much better than a hotel room. It was clean when we arrived, and everything in the apartment worked as advertised. Dairin from Paris Pads greeted us at the time promised and is a delightful person. The apartment faces an interior courtyard and is for the most part very quiet. Having said that, there was noise coming from parties in other apartments in the building on Friday and Saturday nights that went on into the wee hours. Earplugs are recommended just in case. Sunday eve was delightfully dead quiet. There is no internet service in the apt, but we were told that the owner intends to have it installed. I would encourage this. Cafe Charlot nearby on Rue de Bretagne does have wireless internet service and is a good cafe for breakfast. The apt is very well situated within easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants, a larger Monoprix grocery store, and the Temple metro. We paid by use of Pay-Pal, and this was an easy way to avoid the bother of finding a bank and getting cash upon arrival. I can recommend staying at Marais Haven and would gladly do so again.

  Many thanks for your review. It was a pleasure to meet you both, here I wish to answer your questions:
  The general rule regarding parties in connecting apartments they must finish by 11pm 11.30pm and also it is custom to post a notice in advance to inform neighbors.
  I am sorry you had this unfortunate experience but as I live myself in a French apartment its most unusual as the French are very strict about this and the Building Management Company ( Syndicate) enforce strong rules regarding noise disturbance and warnings have been enforced.
  Update the washer/dryer combo is now installed as is the internet.
  
  Thanks again by knowing your concerns we can improve to make our guests as comfortable as possible.
