Le Marais is a small triangle of land of about 2 kms on each side going from Place de la République to Place de la Bastille and to Place de l’Hôtel de Ville. It’s not very big at all, but within this small area you’ll find 170 fabulous historical palaces and mansions, two islands on the River Seine, the exquisite Paris City Hall, Musee Carnavalet and Notre Dame Cathedral. It is an incredible concentration of art, beauty and architectural wonders. The rest of Paris may be jealous of our district.

Clean, modern and well appointed apartment, within walking distance of public transport and/or everything we had time to see. Welcome service and local pointers were great. Plenty of good local restaurants and bakeries. As a family of four, we loved the extra space compared to a hotel. Lack of an elevator was not an issue for us as we are fit. Would stay here again.

We loved the Tresor apartment set up - wonderful to cook in and lots of room along with being tastefully decorated. The location was great - close to the metro station and shopping. It was everything you said it would be on your website. I can't say enough good things about our greeter Lauren and Kelly who was cleaning the apartments. Jennifer I really appreciated all the work you did to make it easy to stay at your four different apartments during the month of april. Spending a month in Paris has been a dream for a long time and you helped that come true. Thank you to everyone for a a great vacation. Each apartment had it's own charm and all of them had comfortable beds. This was my favourite. ...Laurie

We were able to get a feeling of what it would be like to live in Paris. The bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. We used the kitchen and loved the shower in the bathroom.

Wonderful location - really in the thick of things, and close to shopping and cafes, we enjoyed wandering around the area. Everything was there for us - dishes, laundry, movies, wine and chocolate- no bad surprises! . We loved the shower and everything in the kitchen was small and shipshape, just what we needed. The "manual" in the apartment is fantastic! We referred to it often and really, they have thought of everything. The photographs and explanations of how the appliances and tv worked were extremely helpful. Kelly our greeter was great and explained everything to us, but it was good to have a book to refer back to.

The location of the apartment was perfect -- easy to walk to metro and to pick up groceries, and of course close to all of the wonderful parts of le Marais (Centre Pompidou, Jewish Quarter, Place des Vosges). The centralized location of the apartment also made it easy to get to other parts of the city. We also really enjoyed being on the upper floor of the building, so that we could see the lovely Paris rooftops each morning and night. A wonderful added bonus was the free internet access and being able to call back home to the U.S. for free.
