Breathtaking scenery and a spectacular Lindal cedar home await those who stay at this very unique location. Including the mother-in-laws apartment, there are six bedrooms, five baths, a living room with 18-foot vaulted ceilings, loft, and panoramic windows, plus upper-end furnishings throughout. We arrived at atopitall for President's Day Weekend. We walked into a big place that had a great view and plenty of room. I guess I was expecting nicer accomodations (we have stayed in the Rock Creek Jewel prior which is very nice). The place is very outdated and had a weird smell to it. There were 0 rugs at any of the entry doors which means wet socks for everyone. We stayed downstairs in the big bedroom and everything was clean except for worms that were on the floor! We found at least 30 little worms close to the baseboard along the entire wall. There were little worms (alive) in the bathroom as well. The dishwasher needs to be serviced as it backed up every time we used it. The silverware drawer was disgusting (crumbs and leftover food all over the plastic tray). We decided to do a little hottubbing during our stay. The hot tub water doesn't look like it has been changed in years. The water was green and the bottom of the tub was very slimy. I found beer caps floating in it (along with a couple pieces of shingles). We were very surprised judging by the past reviews of the place. We did enjoy our time in Red Lodge (only because of good skiing and awesome friends and family). The cleaning fee of $150 is a joke since they don't clean this place very well. We have been going to Red Lodge for years and this is by far one of the worst places to stay in our opinion. My friends and family didn't think $3000 was a fair price to pay for this place and I agree. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Rock Creek Jewel if you can.

We stayed here for a family reunion over Christmas and we loved every minute! The house is huge and has gorgeous views. We saw deer outside every time we looked out a window. Our group ranged from a 6 month old baby to a 75 year old grandpa and everyone agreed that the house was perfect for our group.

The home was beautiful with a lot of space. The group of 13 enjoyed our stay. We were there for the Bone Daddy Motorcycle Rally, 10 Motorcycles and one chase vehicle. It was so much better than staying in a hotel. We would stay there again!
Only one suggestion - The house needs more wash clothes and dish towels. -
