My wife and 3 kids along with my brother's family stayed at this cabin 2 years ago. We loved the cabin, location and comfortability. We arrived late afternoon in august and as we were leaving the cabin to head into town for dinner took a photo op on the porch. As we were posing a very nice 6 point buck walked right next to the porch. The cabins location is 3-4 miles outside town but is still super convenient. You don't need a map and compass to find town or your way back to the cabin. The cabin is in the upper valley about 2-3 miles from the Beaver dams and trail head to lost lake. There was some great native trout fishing at this lake as well as in the pools by beaver dams. The pictures are spot on and not some specially staged photos. There was a nice little creek within 30 yards of the cabin the kids enjoyed exploring. We would certainly go back and should this cabin ever come up for sale we would consider purchasing. Worth the drive from DFW.
