The service, location, and view was great. The condo was lovely, very clean, decorated well, and the beds were very comfortable.
The condo did lack some basic amenities for comfort and convenience. Suggestions would be: coffee grinder, sharp kitchen knives, comfortable LR sofa, master bedroom needs a chair or bench, towel bars in bathroom, and more than one bar of soap in each bathroom. Over all it was a good place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in a very pleasant neighborhood. -

Very nice home with 2 nice master suites and a nice 3rd bedroom. Well equiped kitchen and nice extras like wireless and HBO. The back deck is very quite and has a great view. The supplies like soap and paper towels were provided but limited. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. Easy to work with owner.

Our host, Fields...Mark Fields. :0) He was polite, and very responsive to any and all questions and phone calls. Setting up this rental was quick, simple, and without any complications what so ever. He really is a 007 of sorts, as unlike some vacation hotels and rental services, he actually gives you the feeling that he works for you! I couldn't pull out my credit card fast enough...really!
Arriving and checking in was a easy as it gets, we got the code, showed up at our allotted time, and entered a clean, welcoming villa in the mountain that was begging me to move in...Now! This no-fuss-no-muss check-in process is how all check-ins should be, though leave the hotels on and anywhere near the property loathing.
It has two good sized Master Bedrooms that have beds so comfortable, that you have no challenge at all drifting off, waking up wondering why that light was left on, realizing the sun was already up already. The 3rd bedroom had two small beds and a really tiny, 13in diagonal, TV. Aside from being color, it reminded me of the one I had that was black and white as a kid.
Along with the two Master baths, there was a clean, well-kept full bath upstairs by the 3rd bedroom and a ½ bath downstairs by the front door.
I have to admit, the location was great being right there on the back-end of a green. It makes the feeling of having a huge yard, without the responsibility of keeping it! And being none of our windows were facing the other villas next to us, allowing us to appreciate the view from the back of the house, it was actually a family room that didn't include the neighbors. ?
The Kitchen was stocked with plenty of glasses, plates, and silverware, and a full size fridge, which we filled...and emptied!
We were secluded enough to feel refreshed, and close enough that it only took five minutes to get out to the city if needed.

We had a wonderful vacation. Birdie 18 is a 2 BR townhouse on the 18th fairway. Super location. It was by far the most comfortable vacation rental we ever booked, and we have rented many. It was fully equipped, immaculately clean, and delivered to us just as promised. We enjoyed the golf course view, the amazing deck with a hot tub, and the free wireless internet. Resort passes came with the rental, for free, and we used the pool at the Sports Center, and even got a discount on green fees. The business end of it was very professional and without any problems at all. Mark is easy to work with and takes care of you.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom, 4 bath guesthouse at Eagle Crest in October, with 2 other couples. This Villa had 2 master suites with attached bathrooms that included an enclosed commode, separate shower, socking tub, double sink vanity, and walk-in-closet. One master was downstairs and one was upstairs. The 3rd bedroom was upstairs on the opposite side of the stairway, and there was a bathroom right outside the bedroom door and an alcove where a desk was with our internet access. The kitchen was amazing (huge). There was a separate laundry room with front loading washer/ dryer, plus a utility sink. The kitchen had a lit walk in pantry and small built in desk. The kitchen was beyond exceptional. It was equipped with any appliance or utinsel you'd find at home. Plenty of dinnerware, which one doesn't always find in vacation rentals.
The beds (mattresses) in this Villa were wonderful. There were no complaints regarding sleepless nights due to poor quality mattresses. This Villa definitely had high quality bedding. The bedrooms were enormous allowing all of us to have privacy if needed.
The frontroom was comfortable and accomodated all of us at the same time. Plenty of seating. The guys did feel the TV could be bigger:-). That would be the only complaint, but they came to golf, so it was not a major issue. By the way, the Redmond/Bend area has the best "golfing" according to the guys. The ladies took cooking classes in Bend, and shopped. Great shopping in Bend and Sisters!
Anyway, our experience was exceptional, and after the 2nd day there, we all decided to make this a yearly trip. The weather was perfect the week we were there, and we didn't get rain until the day we left. Even if it had rained, there was plenty to do in our Villa and Eagle Crest facilities, that would have made this a memorable trip.
