This cozy and comfortable two-bedroom home in the Eagle Crest Resort makes a fantastic getaway for winter ski retreats or summer golf getaways! Spend sunny afternoons barbecuing on the spacious deck, curl up by the fireplace on a snowy evening, or head to one of the resort's three sports centers for a long swim in an indoor pool or soak in a relaxing hot tub at any time of year.
The living area has a wall of windows overlooking the surrounding pine trees and picturesque creek passing through the yard. There are comfortable couches and armchairs arranged before the fireplace, with a flat-screen cable TV/DVD player for relaxing movie nigh...ts.
The kitchen and dining area overlook the living room, offering a nice open space for the whole family to socialize even while preparing meals or playing board games. The kitchen has all the expected appliances, including a dishwasher for easy clean-up, and all the pots and pans, dinnerware, cooking utensils, and dishes you might need. Grab a stool at the breakfast bar for a quick snack, or gather everyone around the six-person table for a family meal.
Through the sliding glass doors, the expansive deck has a gas grill and patio furniture for outdoor dining. With the creek bubbling past, it's the perfect spot to relax with your morning coffee, a good novel, or a board game plucked from the nicely-stocked bookshelf.
The home has two bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom has a beautiful queen bed, a private entrance to the back deck, and an attached bath with separate shower and soaking tub. The second bedroom has two twin beds, and each bedroom has a TV for late-night movies. The living room also has a sleeper sofa, allowing the home to sleep up to six guests quite comfortably. A washer/dryer and wireless Internet access make life much easier for longer stays!

I spent the weekend at this charming vacation home at Eagle Crest with my two children (ages 5 and 9). We wanted to be able to relax and unwind but still be able to get out and do some activities in the area. We were successful!
The house is beautifully decorated and well stocked. I had planned on doing all of our meals in, so I was happy that I had everything that I needed in the kitchen: Coffee maker with filters (even coffee, although I brought my own), griddle for pancakes, crockpot for the homemade applesauce, and all the knives and gadgets.
The rest of the home was very cozy. We enjoyed the Vizio flatscreen TV in the living room (much nicer than ours at home) and it was nice to have a selection of movies as well. A highlight was the selection of board games though; we had brought our own unnecessarily but was impressed by the selection and ended up having a marathon game of Monopoly.
The home was within walking distance to the Lakeside Sports Center. The main outdoor pool was closed until Memorial Day, but the hot tub was open as well as the gym (ages 14 and up), but they offered us tennis rackets or use of basketballs to play on the courts. Unfortunately, they only allowed ages 6 and up in the hot tup (no exceptions), but we were able to fill the soaking tub up in the Master Bath at the house for my daughter to enjoy. The other pools and recreation spots were a short car ride from the house as well.
There is a closeby hike up the Butte for a view of the mountain ranges, but we ran out of time. We did take in the Cline Falls park, just around the corner, as well as a short drive to Smith Fall for a hike (very highly recommend-gorgeous... plus there are various trails of all age and ability levels).
All the staff we came across were very friendly, and very professional... we enjoyed every bit of hospitality that Eagle Crest had to offer.
