The farm holiday Fattoria La Torre lies high in the tuscany hills just south of Florence and within walking distance of the pretty village of Reggello.Restored and converted it into five attractive apartments, all comfortably furnished with large bathrooms and private spots or terraces or loggias with tables, chairs, a barbecue, many Sun loungers and, of course, superb views of Florence countryside. The farmhouse have also five new beautiful B&B; bedrooms all for two person. Just below the farmhouse a swimming pool occupies an ideal position on one of the many terraces, surrounded by well kept lawns with loungers and parasol. Reggello can be... reached by a footpath which leads downhill into the village's main square, where a choice of good restaurants and bars awaits. An ideal spot for families. Small, friendly dog on the property. The kitchens are simple, with cooktops and fridges only. Shared laundry facilities. The farmhouse is located within a property of 370 acres, where it is possible to go for healthy walks, mountain-bike rides and trekking excursions among olive-trees,woodland,and go into protect area of Foresta di Sant'Antonio.In Reggello and nearly there are tennis courts, fishing and riding centres.Restaurant service inside the farm holiday from 2012. Olive Harvest and Italian Cooking

The olive harvest normally takes place between late October to end December. On this holiday you will spend some time with local farmers finding out about the different methods that they use to pick the olives. You will also discover the special olive oil trees, that make city of Reggello the most famous centre of oil DOC production , finally watching the "cold" squeezing of olives in our mill .

The holiday will let you experience the olive oil harvest and teach you about olive oil production - plus you get to taste and cook with the owner - dishes such as local "fagiolo zolfino del Valdarno" or local "Fettunta"- toasted bread , new oil and garlic . You stay in a 150 year old carefully restored Farmhouse (Agriturismo) overlooking the Valdarno Valley and the Chianti hills.

  We had a graet holiday and fully relaxed on return home. The apartment had plenty of room, traditionally furnished, tuscany settings, incredible-panoramic views from the pool and apartment. Gorgeous swimming pool among olive trees!, Excellent place to explore parts of Tuscany e.g arezzo Florence, Siena and the famous hills of Chianti .
  We felt very welcome by the owners, who were also very helpful.
  Would highly recommend to others
  also raccomended a car to explore the territory.
