Stylishly furnished with the capacity to sleep 8 people this villa is ideal for a holiday in Tuscany.

External Description:

Located just 25 km or a 30 minute drive from Florence, you will find this villa immersed in a wonderful fenced park of 4.000 sqm and containing a splendid garden with more than 120 “Old Rose” varieties and a lovely salted water swimming pool 12 x 5.5 metres) open from 1st May... until 30th September. Guests can also enjoy the solarium furnished with comfortable loungers. There is covered terrace about 150 sqm with views over the swimming pool, ideal for relaxing. There is also a pergola with barbecue and a pizza oven. The villa has car parking facilities.

Internal Description

The villa is spread over 3 floors for a total floor space of roughly 300sqm. The villa offers guests 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms and has been furnished with modern furniture with great attention to detail. The villa is very colourful and the walls are very highly decorated. The owner of the property is a trompe l’oeil and Frescoes artist and this villa shows off her full talent.

There is an outer staircase which leads to the first floor where you will find a covered loggia and the entrance to the villa. Upon entering you will find a lovely living room with a modern style chimney and a cozy dining area which looks out on to the covered terrace below. On this floor you will also find a spacious well equipped kitchen, a guest toilet with shower, a double bedroom with en suite bathroom complete with double Jacuzzi tub and a Finnish Sauna (seats 4), a shower, bidet, toilet and two sinks. The use of the sauna has an extra cost.

Up on the top floor you will find a lovely attic which houses a small double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower, toilet and bidet) which is a romantic spot completely frescoed. From the first floor (also has an independent access) going downstairs (wide stairs) you will find two big bedrooms : a double room with bathroom complete with shower and the other a bedroom with two French sized beds (Queen size) with bathroom. This bathroom has a hydromassage tub

Apart from the standard sleeping capacity for 8 people in 4 bedrooms there is the possibility of adding two extra beds (similar to camping beds) and a baby bed if needed.

Our Personal Opinion:

Ideal for a family or a group of friends for short term rentals. The location of the villa garantees a perfect privacy without being isolated. The villa is modern and bright, perfect for anyone who wants to live in comfort and relax in the quiet Tuscan countryside.

The property can only be booked from Saturday to Saturday.

Weekly price: high season: 2.900 €, mid season: 2.300 €, low season: 1.600 €.

Included: All linens included, one weekly cleaning with linens change, utility bills, taxes and condo fees.

Excluded: Final Cleaning 100,00€, heating (if needed) 5,00 € per m3, tourist taxes (1 euro per person per day up to 6 nights).

Extra on request: Daily cleaning (15 euros per hour), complete linens change (40 euros), weekly sauna pass: 200,00 €.

  Just returned from a two week stay in the villa with my wife and 4 friends. The villa is stunning and the location is remote, peaceful and quiet. The kitchen and outdoor eating areas are very well equipped and all the rooms are tastefully decorated. The artwork around the villa is spectacular. The pool and surrounding area is ok but could do with more sun loungers. Whilst we we there is was extremely hot and the villa really could do with some air conditioning, there are fans in the rooms but they only move the hot air around. Also if you are prone to insect bites take plenty of repellant (didn't work for four of us) and take lots of anti allergy drugs.
  It is possible to walk to Donnini where you can get some things at a small supermarket otherwise drive to Pontassieve.(The walk back to the villa from Donnini is all uphill!)
  You can easily catch the train from San Ellero 10 mins drive from the villa to explore further

  A very special villa to stay at.

  The villa is very unique with excellent hosts.The pool was a hit. The location is very private with the local village near by and can be reached on foot if you are fit!! Views excellent. The only problem was the heat, exceptional! The villa would definitely benefit from air conditioning particularly in the downstairs bedrooms as the windows cannot be opened.
  We all had a very memorable stay.
