We had an excellent trip to St. John, and loved Beit Hawa. A representative from Catered To met us at the ferry dock, took us to pick up our rental car, and let us follow her to the house for the first time. She gave us a tour of the house, a book and advice on things to do & restaurants, etc, and the refrigerator even had essentials in it to buy us time before we needed to head to the grocery store. Beit Hawa was exactly as pictured. We were with our parents, so the separation between a master suite and the main house was nice, as we like to sleep in, and they are early risers. We spent time on the deck in the evenings, made use of the grill, and even used the telescope to look at the moon. Good location -- very quick drive to Cruz Bay for groceries, dining out, etc. We loved being right over the water -- gorgeous views from all the big windows. We would definitely return and recommend to friends.

We spent 8 wonderful days on St. John in July. This was our 3rd house rental on St. John and so far, Beit Hawa has been the best! Great location, comfortable beds, awesome breeze, sounds of waves crashing on the rocks, and a beautiful view. My husband and 2 daughters thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Most nights we enjoyed cooking dinner together and used the grill often. I am counting down the days until my next vacation!

The views from this secluded villa are breath taking. reading a book out on the sundeck, listening to the surf coming in below you is sooo relaxing. A/C in bedroom can hardly cool the spacious master suite, so that could use updating. Otherwise there were no suprises at all. I highly recomend this villa. It is a ways from cruz bay, but it is 90% main roads to the villa and the drive only takes 5 minutes. We rented from st.john car rental and they let you park in their lot, so we were always close to the food and drinks.

The villa is much more warn than the pictures detail, To our surprise there was a roommate that lived down stairs that had 2 dogs which visited us from time to time! There were either bed bugs or fleas among the villa. I highly would recommend not using St. Johns car Rental completely an awful experience. Cater to Vacations were helpful to a point but I believe you can be more productive on your own for a better price. The view from the Villa is absolutely beautiful! The Beds however are very Hard. we drove around the villa and explored a lot of area's on the Island, I would suggest you really research your very expensive vacation and be sure it is what you are truly looking for, The snorkeling off of some of the Beaches was amazing!

We would like to point out that the villa does not have bed bugs. You most likely encountered sand mites which are prevalent all over the island. What a beautiful place. It was by far more than I expected. We loved the hot tub in the evenings and sitting out on the deck with coffee in the mornings. The view was amazing, the wonderful smell of the flowers, the tree frogs and seeing a few inguanas running around was great. We were in St. John for my daughters wedding and we got some beautiful pictures at the place. The front doors made a great back ground and the spiral stair case made for some beautiful pictures. We just returned from a week at Beit Hawa. Overall, a great place to stay and Catered To made the experience very smooth.
Beit Hawa is 5-10 minute drive to Cruz Bay. By St. John standards it is a very easy drive, even at night.
The house is spacious - we were six adults and did not feel crowded at any point. It is also well-equipped. The furniture and fixtures are not brand new, but everything is in working condition and clean. We were a bit concerned about lack of aC in the main house (the two loft bedrooms are located there), but because the house gets morning sun and is located at a breezy spot, heat was not an issue at all.
All in all, we will certainly consider Beit Hawa (or another Catered To home) for our next trip. -

Spectacular, stunning, overwhelming ocean view from a fantastic located villa.
We had such a wonderful and relaxing time, enoyed the villa and the beaches on the island very much.
Catered To service was excelent - well organized and very helpful. The villa had great privacy and still close to the shopping center and the beaches. We had everything that we needed to spend a unforgettable time on that paradise island.
Friends were already asking us for details to that villa.
We hope to go back soon. -

This house was perfect for us; it was indeed a "house of breezes" with the lulling sound of the surf a constant companion. The house itself showed the care that the owners took in its design and it was just an easy house at which to feel free and at easy. -

I was speechless when the doors flew open and we walked into Beit Hawa. I had never been to a tropical destination before and this was perfect. I can't think of one negative aspect of the vacation home or the vacation on St.John other than the fact I had to leave. It provided the comfort and privacy I needed for my first Island vacation. I travel a lot. And I rarely if ever want to travel to the same place twice. But from the moment I stepped foot on St.John I began planning my trip back. The ambience, the "artsy" laid back feel on the island, the vibe (the rum!) were just what the doctor ordered.At Beit Hawa loved the view, the neighborhood bird, the iguanas hanging out in the trees, the outdoor shower! You'll be hearing from me soon on the return dates...

Terrific location and views. We have stayed here several times as a couple and/or teenagers an/or friends. Love the casual, comfortable ambiance, though some may prefer fancier accommodations. We have worked with the renting agency, Catered To, for years, and they are first-rate.

Tyler anderson, owner, is an experienced hotle and services expert. The St. John is lucky to have him. The company will provide you what you need, when you need it. Just have to remember that Island time no matter where you are is a bit slower. Net-net...A++ service and opperation.

We stayed in this home for 5 nights in July. Unfortunately we picked the beginning of the rainy season, and we had heavy rain. Also unfortunately the house leaks. So lots of water came around the vents. (But we understand thats common in St John.) The house has a fantastic view, and is in a very quiet neighborhood not far from Cruz Bay and the Westin. When the wind blows (which is constant there) its rather loud in the main part of the house. There is air conditioning only in the Master bedroom. Note the master bedroom is somewhat separate from the main part of the house. That might be an issue for families with small kids. The house is fine, and we would probably stay there again, but we likely look around at other options first.
We were impressed with the management company - Catered To Villas. They were responsive to our requests, and it was very helpful that they picked us up at the ferry and gave good advice. We would definitely use them again. -

I cannot describe in words what a wonderful vacation my husband and I had on St. John staying at Beit Hawa!! The whole idea of renting a villa was new to us, Catered To made everything so easy and were very helpful! Beit Hawa is the one of the most beautiful locations on the island - that in itself makes it worth it to stay there. The view, the sunrise, the breeze - I will never forget! It's pretty isolated - short ride to the market and the beaches - actually just perfect. The house itself, it's a bit dated but we weren't there for the frills - everything worked and was clean. It's very spacicious and so many places to sit and read/enjoy the view. We made use of the hot tub, grill, basically everything they house had to offer. You can tell the owners of the home take care and pride in it. Overall, I'm so glad we stayed at Beit Hawa and picked Catered To to help us.

My husband and myself stayed at Beit Hawa with my son and his wife and were very pleased with the accomodations. This house has amazing views and a very unique design. There are views from all sides. It is also truly a house of breezes. The weather was hot and humid during our stay and we still were comfortable because of the constant breeze. The house's furnishings are very casual and comfortable. This is not a house for young children because of the open loft bedrooms, spiral staircase and cliffs below, so the age restriction is understandable. A family with older children (teens) would be more suited to the bedroom arrangement. This is our second house thru Catered To and they were great. We will use them again if we ever decide to visit the island again.

Initially I did not want to complete the review-Beit Hawa was so lovely and I wanted to keep the secret to myself! The house was incredible, with wonderful views from every angle. At nighttime we felt we were in a secluded place with the clear view of the night sky, yet we were within a short drive to everything on St John! Every transaction with Catered to was seamless from arranging the greeting at the dock, to picking up our rental car to the check-out. The location of the house was the best feature! Our friends staying at another location on the island thought it was quite awesome too!! I think the 'complaint' would be looking across Rendezvous Bay and seeing Ditliff Point beach and not knowing how to get over there by land (we later learned it was private). Another suggestion would be to add how to get down to the black rock beach in boatman's point, we found out how to get there later in the week and found great snorkeling. St John is the most beautiful place we have been and hopefully we will be able to return SOON and stay at Beit Hawa!!!

Having worked with Catered To for a previous visit to St John I was not surprised with the level of service nor the particular house we rented. Beit Hawa was perfect for my family of three. The layout and appearance of the house gave just the right beach house ambiance for a trip to the islands during the Holidays. We loved the separate master bedroom which allowed privacy for my wife and I and gave our daughter her own "apartment" each night. The beach chairs, towels, and coolers made the daily trek to the beach easy and enjoyable.
The only drawback was the dated frig. and stove. Both were a bit troublesome at first but these were easily dealt with as we eased into island time.
My wife is already planning a return. -

We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and took teenagers with us. The separate master bedroom was wonderful ;) The location has a great view. There were no other occupied villas in the area, so it was very quiet. It was great having a greeter at the ferry to show us to the villa. It would have been really hard to find in the dark the first time. She was very helpful. The villa had all that we needed. We used the grill, telescope, washer/dryer, DVDs, and hot tub. The children, especially, want to return.
The stove and 'frig need to be updated, but worked ok. The fountain in the pool was loud, but we fixed that. The waterfall portion was perfect, though. Wife would have liked to watch news on TV, but nobody else missed TV.
We enjoyed our relaxing stay at Beit Hawa. -

We spent the week here before getting married on Little Hawksnest Beach, it was a fabulous place to stay and completed our dream. Beit Hawa was an amazing location, house and we would love to return some day. The house was immaculate and the Catered To team were great. Biet Hawa is a perfect getaway place for 3 couples, though the main house is fairly open plan! St John is perfect if you want to be off the beaten track in paradise, and Beit Hawa is just that too. We have visited St. John for the past four winters and have always stayed on Rendevous Bay. This is the third house we have stayed in and we have loved them all. Catered To Vacation Property is an excellent choice for a rental company. The greeter was at the ferry dock to meet us, brought us to the house to drop off our luggage, showed us around and answered all of our questions. She was a lovely introduction to Beit Hawa. She then drove us back to town to pick up our rental car. She was wonderful. Beit Hawa is wonderful house. House of Breezes is a perfect name for it. It was very well equipped, well kept, in a lovely location overlooking Rendevous Bay and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. It is as lovely as the pictures on the website make it look. The hot tub was not working and the TV cable was out. This was disappointing at first. However, we made do and looked at the stars every night instead of the tv. Turns out it was a great way to spend an evening! We will definitely be returning and will stay at Beit Hawa again.

Renting from Catered To is care free; they meet you at the dock, arrange for your jeep rental, make sure you know your way around, and offer to set up any extra activities.
Beit Hawa is a wonderful place to stay; the location is great -- on the end of a road on a point between bays, ensuring privacy. It is not high end, but has plenty of amenities, if you don't need to have TV.
There is AC in the master bedroom, but we have not needed it in May -- the strong breeze has been enough to keep us cool. It would only take internet access to make it perfect (I am addicted to email).

We have stayed at Beit Hawa many times and expect to return. While not
luxurious, it is a very comfortable home in a wonderful location. The constant
breeze makes air conditioning unnecessary. The location on a cliff
overlooking Rendezvous Bay affords a great view to the East end of St. John
and the constant sound of surf breaking on the rocks below. We especially
enjoy Beit Hawa after dark, when we can watch the stars roll up in the dark sky
with little stray light interference.
We have rented Beit Hawa and other homes from Catered To for about 20
years. They have always been pleasant and professional. The few times that
we have had problems they have been resolved quickly with a single phone
call. -

This was a great place. My wife and 3 teenage daughters stayed for a week. It was the perfect set up for us. We had our space and the kids had theirs. The master bedroom had an air conditioner, but we did not use it. The breeze kept us very comfortable. I highly recommend it.
