My family and I stayed in this lovely home for one night in august. We relaxed, cooked our dinner there, and enjoyed just being in such lovely surroundings. Upon arriving we were greeted so warmly and immediately we felt comfortable and welcomed.
I recommend to all who travel to Reno, Nevada to get away from the hustle, bustle of the casinos and crowded resorts to relax and enjoy a part of the west's history. This place is it. We loved the home and all it's furnishings. -

Thank you Susan for allowing us to rent your beautiful family home! We throughly enjoyed our stay in your home. Our family of 5 and two large dogs had plenty of room and space to relax for the week. This house was a perfect location for us as we were traveling to many softball games as our daughter played in the Reno softball world series. This home has all the amenities we required including access to free Wifi and much needed air conditioning as it was a very hot week. Even with all the antiques in the house, we were still able to feel at home.
Susan was so accommodating as we had my daughter's ball team and parents over for a team BBQ. They all loved the house and its characteristics!.
We definitely will be renting this home again when we come back for a visit to Reno!
Thank you Susan!

RenoNice comfy historical house

This rental was made available to my family rather quickly and the paperwork was quick and painless. This was a nice cozy place to stay with historical decorative pieces everywhere in the house. It was the first time I have ever stayed in a house like this and I truly felt like I was living back in the early 1900's. I would recommend this rental to anyone who enjoys a little bit of history.

San MateoMy Tranquil stay at the Plumas House.
Left on 07/06/2012 for a stay in June 2012
My vacation stay at the Plumas House was very peaceful and tranquil. My room was beautifully decorated in period antiques. The in-room master bath had a full size claw foot tub and a seperate steam shower. I enjoyed the steam shower before retiring to bed. I slept very sound. In the morning i walked outside to enjoy the beautiful gardens that surround the house. I relaxed in a lounge chair and saw numerous varieties of birds all with their own very unique sounds. I felt very comfortable and at ease. I later on walked downtown. The downtown area offered a lot of wonderful restaurants and unique shopping. I also enjoyed watching the children play in the river. My stay at the Plumas House was exactly what I needed. I felt rested and reinspired.
