This 7000 square foot villa offers breathtaking views of long island sound. A large back yard with access to a private pool makes our villa a dream for families and couples. While villas are fairly close on either side of the property, large privacy hedges keep the house very private. Perfect for those seeking relaxation. 200 square meters built in 2009 and decorated in a classic Greek style which includes 2 levels living/dining room with a sitting corner, fireplace and TV with DVD and a large terrace with beautiful views. Archos villa is located on the outskirts of Rethymnon town in a small village called ‘Agia Triada’, located on a mountain slope with beautiful views including the sea. Agia Triada is surrounded by breathtaking natural features such as canyons, hills and nearby beaches. The Villa is approximately equidistant from both the airports of Heraklion & Chania - about 75 km. The neighbouring villages of Adele and Pigi (about 5 minutes away) provide taverns, cafes, internet cafe, butcher, baker and small shops. There are 2 larger supermarkets about a 7 minute drive away (the one is a LIDL). There is an array of excellent taverns along the Platanias stretch.

''I my wife and another couple stayed in the villa during October 2010 and were really pleased by the quality (since it was built a couple of years back), service and overall standard at this quiet and picturesque haven. You could see almost from one side of the island to the other. Given that this was the end of the season the pool was still open, warm and all to ourselves! Of course you will need a car for your transfer but in 5 minutes drive you are in Platanes area, where we spend most of our times, with almost anything you need. We choose Rethymnon town due to it's in the middle of Crete so it was easy for us to drive around.
I would probably choose to stay there again if i would go back to Crete'' -

Overall experience staying there one word would describe it all. Peaceful!! To be honest at the beginning i was afraid of the distance by looking in Google map but i found out that it was only 3 minutes from the main villages of adele & Pigi which had all that we wanted for the house. Cleaning service was typical for Greek standards, nothing too enthusiastic but not bad as well. The house inside is very fresh with nice sitting area and a lovely pool. For the money we paid we were more than satisfied. Thanks for your hospitality.

We travelled last year to Crete and decided to stay at archos villa. It was the only place that suited for two families, had all the facilities we needed and yet was in a close distance from capital city (Rethymno). Definitely the best value for money ratio highly Recomended.
