      Excellent Stay

We stayed at Mackenzie Station for 3 nights while on a snowboarding trip to Revelstoke. The apartment is really amazing and absolutely gorgeous. Steve and Pat were incredibly nice and accommodating for our special needs. The place truly is even better than the description sounds. We would definitely stay here again.

      Yes...It's really that good!

Left on 10/15/2012 for a stay in September 2012

We visit Lake O'Hara in BC near Lake Louise every other year. Each time we add some other destination to our visit. This year we added Revelstoke.

While the weather was far from perfect, the Steve Platt's apartment was amazing. Mountain views surround you and much of Revelstoke is either a walk or short drive away. Revelstoke is not spectacular like Lake O'Hara, but this apartment is as good as it gets.

If you need a bit of criticism to convince you that my review is sincere, here it is:

On our first morning (a Sunday), there was a planned power outage. Seems strange to folks like me, but there is less redundancy in the power distribution in places where fewer people live. The disruption was no big deal, but it was annoying that we were not warned and had to call for help finding a flashlight. Power was back on within an hour.

Excellent service, the property was in excellent shape and modern looking. Upon our arrival we were greated with welcome note and wine. We had placed an order for groceries given our late arrival and found it to be very convenient. Amennities and location perfect for RMR and surrounding activities. Rooftop has a spa and BBQ and sports looker with equipment dryer unavoidable amenities well kept.

      Mackenzie Station Rocks!

Left on 02/09/2012 for a stay in January 2012

This is without a doubt the most luxurious place to stay in Revelstoke! I expected it would be from the nice images and description of the property, but as a high-end residential builder,I often get to a place that looks good in the online pictures but is disappointing in person. That is not the case here. Mackenzie Station is the real Deal with it's ideal in town location, 2 block walk to the ski bus, beautiful finishes & lighting, well-furnished interiors, a kitchen equipped for gourmet cooking, generous entertaining spaces, the great master suite with limestone steam shower, the roof top hot tub and BBQ, the heated ski & boot room and the heated, covered parking spot. Pat & Steve Platt should be very proud to share this wonderful accomodation with their visitors!

      Loved it

Left on 01/24/2012 for a stay in January 2012

We were a group of 8 made up of 2 families. We had stayed at Nelson Lodge last year and knew there was only 1 restaurant at the base and the condos had fairly small living spaces. So this year, we decided to "get the best of both worlds" and have one family stay at the Nelson Lodge and our family stay at MacKenzie station. The arrangement worked perfectly. Town is only 5 minutes from the hill so we hosted apres-ski and dinner each evening at MacKenzie Station. There are plenty of great restaurant options right at your door.

As other reviews have said, MacKenzie Station is beautifully appointed and fully equipped.

MacKenzie Station has become our favourite spot in Revelstoke.

      Great expereince

Left on 03/31/2011 for a stay in March 2011

I travel around BC with friends to discover new mountain and to experience fresh powder and wild mountain.
Revestolke is the place to be. Beautiful Panorama and great snow. You can enjoy everything: heli, snow cat, mountaineering and instead of weather condition you can skiing in forest or in wide area.
In Revestolke, Mackenzie station is the best place you can reach. Is central, useful, near reastaurant, but, above all is full optional. There is nothing you can ask more. You can enjoy roof tub, cooking italian pasta in a kitchen that some (a lot of...) restaurant dreams about. Cleanliness is perfect and you had a 360° view over the Reve skyline.. Really a great experience and we will be back for sure!!

No Contest -- Best Place to Stay in Revelstoke

Left on 02/18/2011 for a stay in January 2011

We could not have been happier with our stay at McKenzie Station. The property is asbolutely impeccable. Steve and Pat Platt have done a wondeful job designing a true home away from home, both in the quality of the property as well as their wonderful hospitality. Steve's many helpful tips on how to best plan our trip helped ensure that we squeezed the most out of everything Revy has to offer, and the attentive, friendly and warm assistance offered by McKenzie's concierge, Shirley Pierlot, made our stay truly a special experience. The third floor hot tub overlooking the town and the surrounding mountains was a welcome end to our many awesome POW days. The location was perfect, allowing easy walking access to great bars, restaurants, stores and everything else and only a short, easy drive to the mountain. We plan on coming back again and again.

      Another incredible stay in Revelstoke

Left on 02/17/2011 for a stay in January 2011

Staying at Mackenzie Station is second to none. My wife and I will always return when we come to Revelstoke. This was our second stay and I believe we had more fun this time than the last time, which is hard to believe. Since we stayed there last year, it felt like returning home. You can't beat the level of comfort and location of this condo. Revelstoke received record amounts of snow while we were there too. Nothing beats sitting in the hot tub overlooking the town while it dumps fresh snow. We walked everywhere in town and only drove when we went to the ski hill. You've got to come experience this place for yourselves. If you don't, you won't ever truly get it.

      Absolutely phenomenal

We had the pleasure of renting Mackenzie Station for 2 weeks just after Christmas, and were beyond just impressed with this property. This luxurious condo has it all! It is spacious and impeccably maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could ever need to cook and entertain. The views from the rooftop hot tub are breathtaking, the great room is cozy and accommodating. After a long day on the hill we couldn't get enough of the steam shower. Both the master bedroom and guest bedroom are furnished with comfort in mind; soft sheets, black out blinds, and deluxe mattresses.

We have stayed in numerous vacation rentals around the world, and Mackenzie Station is second to none. The attention to detail that the wonderful owners provided (both in decor and amenities) is almost astonishing. We can't wait to get back into the mountains for our next stay.

      Best Vacation Ever!

Left on 08/10/2010 for a stay in January 2010

I highly reccommend staying at this luxurious, private condo if you have the chance to travel to Revelstoke, British Columbia. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here in January of 2010 during the World Free Skiing Championships. The charming town of Revelstoke was buzzing and we had the best location for walking to and from all the quaint bars, restaraunts, shops and local events the town had to offer. The amenties of this condo are too long to list. From the state of the art kitchen, best views of downtown and the mountains, wine cellar, to the rooftop hot tub and fire pit. MacKenzie Station also has a heated covered parking spot and equipment room, and boot warmers which were a nice amenitiy considering how much amazing snow there was. Just a short jog to the killer ski hill made this one of our favorite ski vacations of all time! We really enjoyed the steam shower and a soak in the hot tub after an epic ski day. The owners have thought of everything. You never need to leave the condo if you don't want to. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

      Mackenzie Station Visit

Left on 08/06/2010 for a stay in January 2010

I highly reccommend this spectacular high end condo. If you get a chance to visit Revelstoke you need to stay at Mackenzie Station! My husband and I had the pleasure of staying there in January this year during the Canadian freeskiing championships. They were hosted in Revelstoke and the town was buzzing. This condo is within walking distance to great restaraunts, a cool little theater, bowling alley, great bars and everything Revelstoke has to offer. The snow was amazing and the condo has a convenient covered parking spot with a heated driveway. I especially enjoyed the steam shower, gourmet kitchen and boot warmers! I couldn't get my husband away from the roof top hot tub and fire pit. We couldn't have enjoyed our stay any more. The owners have thought of everything!

Perfect, luxurious mountain retreat in the heart of Revelstoke

Left on 08/04/2010 for a stay in January 2010

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this luxurious townhome right in the heart of Revelstoke. If you are looking for accommodations for the perfect mountain getaway, this is it! We visited during the winter and appreciated the heated parking garage, given there was an incredible amount of snow at the time. The home is within walking distance to everything. We walked to the wonderful bars, restaurants and shops in town. The townhome is also a very short distance away from the ski resort (about a 5-10 minute drive). The townhome is brand new and state of the art, impeccably decorated. We had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen and enjoy a nice evening in as well. The roof top jacuzzi is not to be missed...beautiful views, the perfect way to end a day of skiing.
