This rental has everything you want for a casual weekend stay. Great view, hot tub, am/FM Transistor Intercom Radio, and polyphonic door bell. Did I mention the Sail Boat parked in the front yard? Classic. More...

This place has an amazing view. It's a little bit far from the lake in return for that though. And it wasn't inexpensive by any stretch...
The good: Well stocked with amenities and towels, a nice touch. Incomparable view, nice decks. Pool table, hot tub, fireplaces. access to heavenly's hiking trails.
The not so good: It's dated. Also the layout is somewhat odd, with sharp angles of the a-frame house creating weird doors that look like coffins, etc. And the sound system built into the walls is straight out of the 70's as are the appliances. The kitchen is cramped. There's a closet downstairs that looks like it was scraped from some animal (?) or something that was locked inside -- kinda creepy. You just have to be aware of this because as I say compared to many rentals I didn't think it was "cheap" by any stretch. More...

I stayed here with a bunch of friends and it worked out perfectly. There is a plenty of space to hang out as well as to duck into a room and sleep. The open floor plan with the a-frame was awesome, and the view was spectacular. Hot tub and pool table were bonuses. The decor is pretty old school, but it works and gives the place the feel of a 70's ski chalet. If you're looking for an upscale place it's not for you. If you're looking for a place close to the mountain, with easy access to town, and with laid back vibe this spot is perfect. More...
