Generally speaking the rental was clean with the exception of cobwebs filled with nats. I thought the best part of the rental was the backyard and the sunny eating area. It was apparent that the house was used by the owners but there was entirely too, too much "stuff" everywhere to be completely comfortable. The "stuff" did not lend itself to a cozy Tahoe rental. The house was a bit of a let down. It was not in very good condition and it left much to be desired in appeal. It was functional, but it didn't go much beyond that. The back yard has a lovely view, but the deck and table are falling apart. In fact, I had to take a screwdriver out and tighten up the table just so it would stay together while we sat on it. Tha place was located in a great neighborhood that was overall pretty quiet except for the taxis running on weekend nights. The view off the master bedroom balcony is beautiful as well as from the deck. The bedrooms are very large and roomy and the house has everything you need. Walking to the marina takes only a few minutes and leads right to some nice trails and right out to the lake. My little Beagle had the best time hiking the trails, swimming in the river and lake, playing with all of the other dogs that were there and relaxing in the spacious backyard. The house could have been a bit more detail cleaned but overall it was clean and inviting. We had a great time and saved the address so we can go back to the same house.
