The apartment is beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped for a family of four. The location is great with 5-10 minutes walking distance to the beach and 10-15 minutes walking distance to shopping center. You can see the pool and the ocean from the porch. The air condition unit is a little noisy but it never really bothered us. The assigned parking spot was a little difficult to find in the darkness as it is not in front of the complex but one of us was searching for it on foot and it wasn't a problem at all. We had a wonderful time and can highly recommend this apartment. We will definitely come back!!!

Great accommodation
We had a little trouble finding the assigned parking spot as it is not in front of the apartment complex but in front of the fitness center across. Still very close! If you want to see the lave flowing in the ocean please be aware that right now the best viewing spot is not in the Volcanoes National Park as described in most travel guides. You should check the website before you go. The guided tours through the park are amazing!!! Go to the black sand beach and watch resting sea turtles and don;t miss the green sand beach. But take sunscreen and water on the three mile hike, it's worth seeing. Best sandwich place in Waimea is the Waimea Coffee Company on 65-1279 Kwaihae Rd in Waimea (Kamuela). Amazing food, smoothies and ice cream!!! Enjoy your stay as much as we did!
