I visit Hawaii yearly for a little r and r. I like the area of the marina because it's not crowded but still close to all restaurants, shops and the beach. In the past i have stayed at the Ilikai hotel (next door to the marina). I decided to stay at the ilikai marina to save some money. I thought the room had an awesome view and it was very roomy. I have never stayed at a condo and didnt really know what to expect. I was happy that the room had a large kitchen with everything you need. However, I was disappointed that the bed wasn't comfortable, mattress seemed aged and the bedding for the bed and sofa bed seemed old. They had comforters, i dont know if they wash it every single time a new tenant uses the unit. I would suggest for them to use bedding with duvets (easy to wash). The bathroom's wall paper is peeling, and it needs updating.
Next time condos are not for me, i will pay the extra little money to have my room cleaned daily
