Great Location! Great Time!

Everything was great about our stay. The location and view were wonderful, and it was nice to be away from the downtown Kona crowds. Especially nice to be minutes away from great snorkeling at Kahalu'u!!! The condo had all the supplies we needed, complete with beach gear like boogie boards and straw mats. The beds were very comfortable, and the common area was conducive to a nice family gathering.

The downside was the water temperature. We took many lukewarm, if not cold, showers. On the other side, sometimes the water was too hot, and the coldest we could get the water was "warm". It would have been nice to have written instructions regarding how to manage the hot water heater, and also how to use the temperature controls in the master shower (very confusing!). If you have a large group of people, all of whom would like a tolerable shower at the end of a long day, this can be very frustrating.

I definitely would not let the water situation keep you away, because that is really the only downside, and is probably something that can be fixed. It's just something to keep in mind.
