| Just wanted to leave a little feedback for anyone considering a visit to Tybee. One of the things that you look for on a website are the pictures to get a feel for the place you might be staying. We were pleased with the pictures but Shore Leave looks even better close up. It is very spacious yet very comfortable and homey. The accomodations and amenities are all first class especially the large jacuzzi tub that everyseems to talk about. Quite relaxing that tub is. The front deck is big and spacious with a great view of the people walking about and enjoying the island. The people associated with Mermaid Cottages were all very nice, cordial, and especially accommodating to our needs. The location of Shore Leave is perfect. Within walking distance of the main attractions yet not too close. Drive time to any other parts of the island is just a few minutes. Loved this place, Loved the Island, Will Be Back. |

There was a wasp problem at the front stairs and I got stung.

My personal tips:
Checkout Tybee Island
Many people who stay on Tybee also like to go to Savannah. If you are staying for a week or so this would be good. However, if you are here for just a few days Tybee itself has plenty of good food, beaches, and entertainment if you look around. You won't feel like you missed something if you did not explore Savannah.
