I'm a firefighter currently contracted in Iraq. I came home for
Thanksgiving to spend some time with the family before I had to go
back to Iraq. We stayed at the Gathering house and this was the best
thing for us, a place to sit and talk, a place to spend so real family time
together not just talking on the phone or web cam. I took my wife our
three children and my mother and father in laws. Being over here in
Iraq the one thing that we wanted to see was some snow and by the
grace of god we saw it on the first night there. I have no words to explain the feeling that we had but I can tell you one thing we will be
back on my next R&R. Thank you so very much for making this the
best vacation we have ever had.
