Poor conditions

Upon arrival we were greeted with a stench coming from the kitchen. We tried to freshen up the sink by running water and putting some dish soap in the disposal but that didn't work. I mentioned this to the management office who said they would have someone stop by and look into this. Not sure if anyone ever came because luckily we did not have to spend much time in the condo. Needless to say the smell did not get resolved.

The master bedroom shower was awful. It requires some good flexibility to even get into the bathroom based on how the door and toilet are positioned. Getting into the shower was no easy task. I'm a tall person and the opening to the shower must be built for people who are not of even average height.

The condition of the shower was possibly the worst part for me. There is no light in the shower, just whatever spills in through the tiny opening. It's almost like showering in candlelight. Most dissapointing to me was the cleanliness of the shower. The grout was badly discolored most areas and the shower pan had some yellow/orange stains all over it. It was most pronounced below some pipes that were sticking out of the back of the shower which I would assume were at one point used to make the shower a steam shower.

Worth mentioning but not the end of the world was that the bed was rock hard. I know it's hard to please everyone when it comes to this but in addition to everything else in the condo I was hoping to at least have a comfortable bed.

Finally, when we were preparing for checkout we turned the dishwasher on as instructed. It wasn't long before the dishwasher had soap bubbles pouring out of the washer. We stopped the wash cycle and used towels to mop up the soap/water.

Overall I would never stay in that condo again. I've stayed in another unit within the building before and had zero issues. After this experience it's not likely that I'll be back.

Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and we have forwarded the information on to not only the Owner of Sawmill Creek #214, but also the Maintenance and Housekeeping Departments.

This is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention and the upgrades needed, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. Housekeeping has been notified that a complete clean of all the bathrooms, as any discoloring is not acceptable at all.

Maintenance has removed the smell and fixed the dishwasher, I am really sorry that the dishwasher overflowing was your last experience with us as it is not the last impression we want our guests to have of their stay with us.
