| If your trying to get away from the big crowds, and overpriced luxury accommodations, this would be the place. During our stay in Hawaii, we stayed at both a luxury hotel and the relaxed, laid back, private beach, of Napili Bay Resort. It was awesome to walk out the front door to the beach. The snorkeling at Napili Bay was much better than the paid excursion I took. I did have a little problem going to sleep with the ocean waves crashing all night. The windows are louvered with no glass, so the noise could not be stopped. A Tylenol PM took care of that. |

My personal tips:
Snorkeling The snorkeling is best on the left side of the beach area among the rocks. As you go further out be careful of the currents that try to pull you out further and bang you up against the rocks.
