Perfect for us

We had a couple of criteria for this trip.

1) Accommodation had to be on the beach. So often we compromised in the past and did not want to this time.
2) Had to have a workable kitchen and a decent bed.

#204 at Nohohani met this criteria perfectly. Everything was great. Loved watching the sunset from the lanai and hearing the waves at night from the lovely bamboo bed. Wouldn't recommend the unit for large families but for couples or couples with baby, etc it is great.

Also appreciated the guidebooks in the room (very handy) and the in room laundry, which allows you to pack light. Only very minor issue is the shower is a bit low for taller people, but no big deal. Our overall Maui experience was great and having a nice place to call home while we were there was a big part of it.

Thanks Susan!

My personal tips

Reasonable takeout

Maui food is expensive! If you are on a budget consider the taco truck down the road, as well as the Oyazuka in the same strip mall(or something like that) for reasonable, good quality take out food. Or try Cilantro in Lahaina for yummy food. Or make your own, shop Star Market, not Safeway..
