Dated unit but spacious and great location

We ski at Breck a lot and usually stay at one friends' house or anther. This was our first summer visit to Breckenridge, and since we had many other family members in tow this time, we decided against imposing our friends. I booked by calling the number on the www.breckenridge.com website. The guy was very helpful and gave us a few different options based on our situation. I had a vague idea of where One Breckenridge Place was located; when we arrived, I discovered that was one of the best things about it. While it's a little far, it is within walking distance of the gondola. It is also well within walking distance of main street, which is very nice, especially since parking can be problematic at times. The unit was spacious and fit our 5 adults and 3 children party comfortably. The decor has an early '90s vibe and could probably use some updating, particularly the tile countertops and tile floors, where the grout is all kinds of undone. I feel more strongly about this after seeing lots of photos of other units with quartz countertops and other more updated appearances while I was trying to find this unit on the website to leave a review. That being said, the unit was okay overall and offers a full kitchen, separate shower and jetted tub in the master, and full size washer/dryer. There is a very nice hot tub on the balcony, but the balcony faces Park (major street). This offers a nice-ish view of town (not the slopes) but extremely little hot tub-privacy. There is a one car garage, and there is other limited lot parking available (with permit/proof of rental). I'm not sure how the almost $400/night compares with other 3BDR/3Bath units in the area during this time of year since we usually freeload our lodging. Overall, the unit worked out well for us and is in a vey convenient location for Main Street strip access; since its summer I can't comment on the ski-in/out practicality of this location.

Dear Magnificent Seventh -

Thank you for your review! We always like to hear from our guests and this is great information for us to make sure that our units are getting the attention needed and guest’s are experiencing exceptional customer service.

Wonderful news about your first summer stay in Breckenridge and One Breckenridge Place Townhomes! I will let the owner know though about the need for an update to the kitchen and the bathrooms, as it is good information for them with other units being updated.

Your review of your stay in One Breckenridge Place #2 is greatly appreciated and please let me know if there is anything I can assist with for your next trip to Breckenridge!

Sincerely,
