Great Sunsets

We spent a week at Napili Bay in September of 2008. After a couple of days of driving to visit other places on the island we realized Napili Bay was the place to spend our time. We really enjoyed the view from our second floor unit's lanai. The sunsets were great. Being right on the beach was a definite plus. The grounds were very nicely maintained but the big feature was the beach. You can't beat that beach.

The unit was small but sufficient for two people. The kitchen has been nicely remodeled. Although there is no air conditioning, we had no issues with heat. Noise did not seem to be a problem either. On the slightly negative side, the wicker furniture was not especially comfortable and the bed was average, at best.

However, this is a beautiful spot. Everything you need is close at hand. We plan a return visit.

My personal tips

Save on Groceries.

There is a nicely-stocked supermarket very near the resort but the prices are very high. We plan to hit the Costco near the Kahului airport when we arrive in the future. BIG savings.
